The owner of Sumertime arrived when he said he would, we agreed to a price for bringing down the branch and he allowed me the option to have him clean up the debris or save some money and let me take care of clean up. Summertime came back the next day and brought down the large branch with no damage to my fence or my neighbors pine trees. Fair price, quick service, quality work.

I had a tall box elder tree that fell on my roof from a brief, but heavy thunderstorm ( & heavy winds ) the night before. I called Mike in the morning, he was out within the hour, talked to him, & he was very professional, & courteous. He seen how much damage there was, gave me an estimate, & started taking the tree down just before noon, & was all done, trucks were gone, everything cleaned up by 3:00 pm. his whole crew was very professional, & courteous. the price was very fair, considering he was the 2nd estimate i got. I'd definitely use him again, if i had another tree that i needed cutting down & wood hauled away! highly recommend his company!

Some of the companies that I called didn't even answer me or return my call.
Mike came out the same day, got the tree out of the way and spent a couple hours dropping branches and an additional tree and cleaning up dead branches (above and beyond).

called Mike the owner, he was very nice and knowledgeable. tree was trimmed to my satisfaction. he even went the extra mile and trimmed other branches that I didn't realize I needed trimming. overall the experience was good with a couple of exceptions. we live on a lake, the land is boggy and there are cat tails all around. one of his helpers drove the truck hauling the chipper into my back yard a little too far and it got stuck. the helper tried to get it out himself and tore up parts of my lawn. Mike had to go back to his office and get another truck to pull it out. they were successful in removing the chipper truck, but as stated previously, they tore up my lawn in the process. however, Mike made his helper stay behind to fix the lawn. although I appreciate the effort, the lawn is still noticeably damaged. secondly, a couple larger portions of the branches that mike cut fell on my roof and hit the side of the house. there's no visible damage, but time will tell with the next big rain. again, he had one of his helpers go onto my roof and clean all the gutters out, that was a plus. price was a little steep, but mike knew what he was doing, so that made it worth it. definetely had the tools for the job, not just a couple of guys with handsaws, chainsaws and a ladder... he's insured and bonded. i'd recommend him to anyone because of his skills alone... he's a vet, thank him by hiring him. he also sells free range turkeys for thanksgiving.... enough said.

They did a great job. They were prompt, polite, and did a great job cleaning up. They even removed some additional tree/ shrub branches I previously cut down. I will definitely use them again.

Everything went great! They were quite busy, since a tornado went through town recently, but when I told Mike "OK" he had his guys there in about 10 minutes. They must have been right down the road. They had to come back a few times times over a period of a week or so because the ground was wet and they didn't want to mess up the grass too much. So they just did what they could when they could. Other than a few understandable divots where those big trees fell and where the truck/crane were, they left the yard quite a bit cleaner than it was before they started! The crew were very efficient and friendly.

Mike came by to give me an estimate on the trees that I wanted removed. Two were pine trees which would be easy (but messy). One was an Oak that had few branches left as I had been trimming it to take it down myself. Obviously I changed my mind (got lazy). The last tree was a very large Elm in my back yard which was near many other trees and bushes. This one had to come down because it was hollow to some point as water was coming out of the side of the trunk a few feet off of the ground. Mike did mention that there may be some collateral damage as they took this tree down. I had the first three taken down on one visit as I wasn't sure if I was going to delay the last tree coming down until next year because it was going to be a little pricey. We decided to have it done this year but asked Mike to wait till the ground froze or at least firmed up from the constant October rains as he would have to drive his trucks back through our yard. After many days of good November weather Mike called me and asked if he could take the tree down. I double checked that evening and the ground seemed pretty firm so I told him he could go ahead. My Wife was home as they were working and mentioned to me that they have some real serious equipment not just a couple of guys with chain saws and a pickup truck. They had one truck with a claw to pick up the sections of the 30 inch diameter trunk of the tree and place it on the back of the truck. Quite impressive. They cleaned everything up very well and the only damage to nearby trees was too minimal to mention. Of course there are divots in the ground that I will have to fill in from where side branches pierced the earth as the tree fell. Of course this was expected. All in all I am very satisfied with their work and would hire them again.

His jobs go as expected. He does quality work and leads the crew himself.
