Completely resolved issues and offered advice for remediation of other issues. Luis is a consummate professional, and I would highly recommend him for any jobs.

We contacted Luis of STS Roofing while he was working on our neighbor's house for an estimate on roof repairs. We also needed our second floor porch replaced which Luis said he could do. Luis and his crew were outstanding from work ethic, to professionalism, to end of day clean up, to quality of work. We have already made arrangements to have him come back in the spring to repair/replace flashing and do some tuck pointing. The crew showed up early each day and worked without stop all day. The roof repairs are guaranteed for two years, so we are looking for no more leaks! The crew also was very careful to clean up everything at the end of the day. They even went so far as to place the materials on the sidewalk in the back/side yard so as not to destroy the grass. Excellent work STS Roofing!!

They do an excellent job. They are very professional and I liked that they cleaned up every night. They are very prompt as they came at seven in the morning. They had no radios blaring and their was no unprofessional language. They were professional and would only talk about work related or appropriate topics.

We called for quotes tor the resealing of the roof and repairs of the gutters from several different contractors. Luis's quote was not the lowest but in talking to him and his assessment of out situation was very eye opening. His personality and display of concern for our situation was a great influence on our decsion to hire STS Roofing. His experience and with a check of his references we were sure we wanted him to do the job for us.
He showed up with his crew on schedule and every day we could count on them showing up on time. He had a great relationship with his crew and had their total respect. We could tell by their attitude that they enjoyed their work and took great pride in their work. They worked hard every day. His crew members could work effeceintly as a team or independantly as the job assignments required.
They sealed the roof then worked on repair of the gutters plus installation of gutter guards and we were totally pleased with every aspect of the work they performed.
We are very proud of the end result of their labor and called Luis to have ice and snow guards installed and he came right out and installed them to our satisfaction.
In closing my wife was so pleased she gave Luis a great hug of appreciation (which no other contractor we has used has qualified for) and we will call him for anything else needing to be done.

First I must preface this with how much I dislike dealing with home improvement people. Dealing with STS was a totally different experience then any we have had before with a home improvement company.
Luis and his crew are extremely professional. They were on the job at 7AM the three mornings it took to complete the job. Those men really got down to business fast!
In our previous encounters with home improvement companies there is a lot of extraneous talk with very and quot;colorfuland quot; language, radios blaring,cigarette butts all over and then the push for additional services. They often don't show up on time and would often leave early. There wasn't any of that which we greatly appreciated. These men worked very hard and efficiently. They were very respectful of my flower gardens and shrubs and every evening at 5:00OM to 6:00PM when they were finished for the day they would go around and pick up every morsel of paper, shingles, nails, etc. We were so pleased and impressed with STS that this year when we needed to replace all the windows in the house we pleaded with Luis to take the job even though that isn't his main area of expertise. He and his men did an awesome job and again we were thrilled with the experience.

They were very professional.

Luis is the best roofer we have ever had. We have a 1929 house with a slate roof and several chimneys. We had a lot of leaks in the attic and in a couple of rooms. Luis came to give us an estimate and was very thorough as was his estimate to us. Very detailed. His team of three worked every day even in the rain including one Saturday.

We only asked him to work on the slate part of the roof, but while he was working on one of the chimneys, he casually mentioned to my husband that there was a problem with some of the stones in the house, and he couldn't imagine that we weren't getting water. Well, we were getting water there, but after several roofers had failed to diagnose the problem, we contracted out to have the entire balcony area rebuilt. Well, Luis took a look at some things and says that he has solved the problem. This is after 7 years of trying to find this leak.

They were here nearly two weeks, but we could not be happier. He is an excellent cook also. He found out that I liked Mexican food, so he brought me homemade salsa (twice), stuffed peppers, and fresh tamales.

Having an old house, we know that he will be the only one we call to repair any of our roofs or gutters. Luis knows what he is doing.

Luis is a pleasure to work with. A real craftsman and a nice person.

Luis did a remarkable job. The "repair sheathing" in the above box involved leveling the roof peak and beefing up the attachment point of the third garage bay to the original house. Luis is professional, creative, accommodating, and keeps the work site spotless.

An excellent experience. Luis does outstanding work and is a pleasure to have around. 100% satisfied.

LOUIS IS THE OWNER AND CONTRACTOR OF STS (SLATE, TILE, SHINGLES) ROOFING, AND HE DOES A VERY GOOD JOB. IT DOES TAKE A LONG TIME TO GET HIM OUT TO DO THE WORK BECAUSE HE IS SO BUSY.

VERY BUSY BUT WORTH THE WAIT. ONE OF A FEW ROOFERS WHO WORKS ON A SLATE ROOF.
