All members of the team were very professional, polite, and dedicated to do the job right. They all worked together well and did a job I can only describe as well above and beyond what I expected. I have another job coming up and they are the only ones I would call. Super pleased with all the work.

Take the 5-star reviews with a very large grain of salt. It’s clear that Limbwalkers has recruited their pals and cronies to help them out with glowing reviews. My experience with Limbwalkers certainly wasn’t glowing and was anything but 5-stars. Limbwalkers Tree Service pressured me into paying before all work was completed. Once they had the money in hand, they refused to return and do the work they had so strenuously assured me they would do. Rather than keeping their word and trying to make things right, as any reputable business would do, Limbwalkers has chosen to turn their back to me and try to lie their way out of it. This isn’t a case of miscommunication, nor is it a misunderstanding. There is no doubt in my mind that this was done deliberately. Limbwalkers knows exactly what the truth is. They knowingly and blatantly lied about it, and the story they fed to the BBB is little more than pure fiction, citing a contract that never existed and flat-out lying about verbal and digital communications. The “contract” they’re trying to hide behind is their initial proposal. It was never agreed to and it was never signed. That’s no contract. They know that. I inquired about a contract on their first day on the job and they just shrugged it off. Now we all know why. I suggested that all parties submit to a lie detector test to ascertain who is telling the truth and who isn’t. Limbwalkers ignored that suggestion. That says it all, doesn’t it? If you think it can’t happen to you, believe me, it can. These people did it to me and they can just as easily do it to you. They’ve even contradicted their lies with other lies. They can’t keep their lies straight. For all their lies, distortions and other trickery, they cannot escape the fact that they took and kept money from me for work they then refused to do. I first caught these people in a lie when they were initially pitching their proposal and that set off a red flag. Foolishly, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Monumental mistake. Further, Limbwalkers Tree Service did sub-standard work (VERY sub-standard work), they were ridiculously unreliable, damaged my property, left it a mess and had bad attitudes… not so much the crew, but the people in charge, namely Tom and Kenny – the very people who should have set a positive example. They were nice enough when they were campaigning for the work, but once they had the job, their attitudes plummeted dramatically without warning or provocation. I was never anything but nice to these people and went out of my way to be accommodating to them. And I gave them a great deal of money. This is how they show their appreciation. You have to ask yourself how bad do these people have to be to do something like this, and is LImbwalkers Tree Service the kind of people you want to do business with. This is a case where the low bid ends up being the most expensive. It’ll cost me thousands of dollars to finish the work Limbwalkers reneged on, to fix their mistakes, and to repair the damage they caused to my property. For me, Limbwalkers Tree Service was a nightmare, a manifestation of every horror story I’ve ever heard about bad contractors. Taking advantage of anyone is low enough. Taking advantage of a senior citizen with a known heart condition is as low as it gets. It’s downright despicable! Clearly, I wouldn’t recommend Limbwalkers Tree Service to anyone. There are lots of honest, ethical and knowledgeable contractors out there who truly care about the quality of their work, and genuinely appreciate their customers’ business. It just takes one bad seed to give the whole industry a bad name. Limbwalkers is the worst run company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and unquestionably the most dishonest. Character counts! Look elsewhere. You can do infinitely better than Limbwalkers Tree Service. You’d be hard-pressed to do worse.
Response from LimbWalkers Tree Service
"We were hired by [Member Name Removed] to do his tree work in December of 2017. All the work Limbwalkers Tree Service was hired to do was on this contract and spelled out clearly. The amount of the estimate was for $25,539.30. We completed the tree work portion on 2-9-2018 for $15,029.30 [Member Name Removed] paid us on 2-13-2018 check #0002877000. We then went back in spring to rake the yard, grind stumps, clean stump debris, fill holes with top soil. At that time the stump grinders left some indentations in the lawn. The remaining amount owed was $10,510.00. So Tom, Kenny and [Member Name Removed] all meet to look at the damage and decided [Member Name Removed] should hold back $1,000.00 until the indentations were fixed. [Member Name Removed] was happy and paid $9,459.00 on 4-17-2018 check #0002901477. The balance of $1000 was left open to come back and repair yard indentations. [Member Name Removed] was going to let us know when his yard firmed up since its in a low area and stays wet longer then most yards this was in April 2018. We never heard from him until August 2018 when he sent us a nasty email and we were told he was bad mouthing us and slandering our business. At that time we were uncomfortable going back and told him he could keep the $1,000 as a credit and this would more then cover repairing any yard damage. As of April of 2018 we completed all the work listed on the contract. We gave [Member Name Removed] the credit that was agreed upon and feel his complaint is unjustified. Limbwalkers tree service is a small locally owned business that has been around for over 10 years with no complaints. For [Member Name Removed] to make these outrages accusations towards a company that has nothing but positive feedback from its community is disgusting. It is our belief that [Member Name Removed] will do and say anything to get this done for free. In closing there is a contract, all of the work on the contract was completed, a credit was given for yard damage, [Member Name Removed] was happy and paid for the work."

The actual work performed was done professionally and well. However, we had difficulty in scheduling. I had to contact the company several times to get appointments scheduled because they did not return calls. Also, the first estimate that we received was for the wrong address. We had to have them come back out and resend a different estimate. The revised estimate was $100 more than the first, but we went with them anyways because there had been so much delay by that point.

Tom came out the end of April to evaluate the work needed to be done. The two 40 foot Blue Spruces would be cut down, the roots were ground, two large areas left in the mound with stones were also removed. The job went very well...the clean up of all the debris was excellent . Tom and his crew are very professional!!

Tom and his crew did a great job, from tree removal to stump grinding. Our yard was left spotless, and Tom even went out of his way to protect our lawn from damage by his bigger vehicles. Good work all around!

Went really good, Prompt, professional And cleaned the h*** out of the yard. Except for the two stumps, you would never known that they were here. And that's Exactly what Tom had told me. Front of my house looks so much bigger. Thanks for the hard work you and your employees have done.

What started out as an estimate to take one dead tree down ended up being an estimate for our entire yard. Tom came out and his inviting personality won us over. He sold us on how much better our yard would look with some trees removed and other areas trimmed. If I can recall correctly we had least 13 fairly big trees removed. All of the other existing trees trimmed up (not including the ones in the woods area), overgrown bushes removed, overgrowth behind our pool removed and all stumps ground, including some that had been left behind by another company. Tom told us his scheudle, so we knew it would be a while before they could start. Our initial meeting was on the 21st of June and their work started on the 31st of July. They started the work on a Thursday, had to take the Friday off because of some tree emergency and then cam back the following Monday and Tuesday to finish up. The whole crew was fantastic, very professional. Our price did go up slightly because of additional stumps that had to be ground that were not anticipated....Tom offered to split the cost of that which we thought was fair. I would definitely recommend Limb Walker Tree Service. We did spend way more then we originally thought, but do love how open and healthy our trees look and now we can finally grow some grass!! For tree service removal and trimming you can't go wrong!

"Thank you for the kind words Lori, I also like the way the yard turned out. I think the entire yard has benefitted from this project and will really bloom now. Enjoy the sunlight over the pool. Tom."

Tom and his crew were on time and did a great job. They cut a sixty foot tree that was hanging over our house with ease. Two more were cut by our garage and one trimmed. Our yard was protected and cleaned. He was professional and E-mailed the contract and insurance papers right away. I did contact three other company's and even though he was not the cheapest he made me feel that he could handle the job. Which they did. Thanks Limb Walkers.

Took out 3 large mature trees.and one small tree and one branch . Ground out 5 stumps. Tom is very personable and works with you if problems arise. The weather was hot and challenging. Tom has a good sense of humor which I like. The team is a very dynamic group of serious workers. Loved the remote grinder!

Tom did a very thorough job of walking me through my property to discuss and analyze the condition of our trees. We received a proposal within a few days. We felt confident that Tom had the knowledge and experience to do the job properly. They showed up early on a Saturday morning and working diligently until the job was done later that afternoon. Tom is very professional and his experience showed. We are lucky to have found him. Highly recommend!

We contracted with Limb Walkers to remove four trees in August of this year. Tom came when he said he would, gave us a quote the same day and started soon after. We were very impressed with him! He explained exactly what his crew would do, and provided us with the required insurance information. The price was fair, the work was excellent! One of the trees was about 90 feet high. Everything went very quickly ? the crew worked well together. They completely cleaned up the work area, and were very careful not to damage the surroundings. They even put down mats so that falling logs would not damage the lawn. They also removed another large tree from the yard of our next door neighbor. They were also pleased with the work. We will definitely call Limb Walkers again when we need to remove trees in the future!

Tom cam out in the evening to give an estimate for the work I wanted done, he was very personable and easy to talk to. We agreed on a very reasonalbe price. He came out to do the work fairly quickly even though I didn't express any urgency. His crew was very nice and willing to go the extra mile. They cut up and stacked the larger pieces of wood and hauled away the rest. They also did a great job cleaning up after the job. I can't say anything negative about the experience I had. I am glad I found them, because I have a lot of trees and plan to use them in the future for sure.
