Hummer Brothers Landscaping

Work ethic is disappointing. They did not show any pride in their work or workmanship. My patio looks like it's 20 years old and it was put in September 1, 2016. They will make no attempts to repair it. Their solution to the problem was to put a table over the issue that they are refusing to make right. Please save yourself a headache and book with someone, anyone else. They did remove the tree as requested.

We used Hummer Brothers last fall to install a back patio, as well as re-grade and seed our backyard.  Beautiful work!!  We enjoy the area very much.  We booked them again for June to repair some driveway issues and add a sidewalk connecting the driveway to the back patio.  Great job, yet again.  Already booked them for a 3rd job at a rental property we own.  Will be booked for a 4th job next spring for my front yard landscaping as well.  Highly recommend!!!

The original bid which was provided was exceeded by $2000 and the rationale Mark Hummer provided for overages were due to requiring more topsoil than was bid. I paid it knowing that grass wouldn't grow without the appropriate amount of topsoil. I'm not sure what I paid for, my lawn came up in spots and has now stopped growing. I called a lawn service to assist me in trying to recover the lawn and was told that with the lack of topsoil, that my best bet would be to request Hummer Bros. to rip it up, add topsoil and reseed. I contacted Mark Hummer requesting assistance, he was nothing but rude, obnoxious and disrespectful. He then told me he would charge me to fix it. I'm stuck in a difficult position now and have no other choice but to contact my lawyer and go that route to see if I can recover at least some of the money I paid to these scammers. With all the hardworking contractors out there who intend to do good work and back-up their products/services - I see NO reason at all to recommend Hummer Bros (either Mark or Eric) and would recommend you to stay far away from them. Its not worth it. There are soo many landscapers out there who do good work. These guys give the industry a bad name.

They did a fine job and they were hard working. We're pleased with the outcome.

I have no complaints. Everything was done properly and in a timely manner. Any problems that came up during the course of the work were handled in a professional manner.

JOB WAS A BIT LATER THAN ANTICIPATED START DATE BUT WEATHER WAS A FACTOR. HUMMER WORKED WITH A CREW OF 4-5 AND COMPLETED ENTIRE JOB IN ABOUT 3 1/2 DAYS. VERY LOVELY WORK AND QUALITY OF PLANTS, SHRUBS, & TREES EXCELLENT. WORK EXCELLENT ALSO.
