We were referred to Dakins by a family member who had a tree cut down. We had 4 large trees that we wanted removed, and they said they would come out for an estimate. Since it was not a pressing need, I left it alone and figured we were too far away when it had been 4 weeks and still no one had showed. The guy just showed up on a Sunday, and gave us a written estimate. It did not include stump removal, he said he did not do that. We decided to go with them, and they were very accommodating on scheduling dates to come out. He said it would take 2 days, and we preferred to have someone home due to the size and location of the trees. They did not show up until after 10 am the first workday, around 930 the 2nd. By then end of day 2, only half of the trees had been removed. It took about 10 days to have all of the debris removed. I believe that they cut the trees for 4 days and due to weather, could not come and take any of the wood. I feel like they underbid us, and we got an amazing deal. They quoted us about half of what another provider estimated.
