Very well.  This was a part II to an early foundation repair that was done similarly, but on another wall of our basement.
The B&R team came in and did a solid job.  Very professional.  There was a bit of a delay in starting vs. the planned date due to another previous job finishing later but all-in-all was manageable.  The did good cleanup, pulled permit and did what all they said they would do, all at a fair price.
This was the main reason why we had them come back for the 2nd job as they were reliable and got the job done.  Dave is very professional and runs a solid operation.  Would recommend them to others having basement issues and in need of repair that's done to appropriate standards and in complete manner.

They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves and also made sure everything drained properly by testing it. We are really happy with their service.

They were prompt and efficient. They kept to schedule and finished the job on time without ever seeming to rush. They were respectful of the privacy of my house as they were in and out of the basement over 3 and 1/2 days.

While they confirmed that my basement did not have major foundation problems, I have no doubt that the work they recommended and performed was needed to insure that my new sump pump, which replaced an older system, would keep my basement dry during heavier rains. We have had some moderate rains and one heavy rain since the installation, and the work seems to be holding up well.

This is a small company. I initially found one owner's manner a bit gruff, and this might put off some customers. In my experience, it would be well worth getting past this initial reaction. I found the company easy to work with, responsive and friendly.

I would not have hired him personally. The buyers that were buying the house preferred him so I had to go with him. It was not my choice that I would have wanted for the repair. The owner of the place came across as too arrogant to me. To be talked down to was aggravating. The price was fine. The other two estimates that I got came close to that price. It was what the buyers of the house wanted. They wouldn't go through with the sale if they didn't have this particular guy do the repair work. I was boxed in a corner with this thing. Because the realtor referred him, they thought he walked on holy ground. They wouldn't even consider anybody else even though I had a couple of other people that I thought were just as good if not better. I wanted to get the house sold and if that's what I had to do, that's what I had to do. I would not use them again in the future.

It went very well given extent of work required. The team worked efficiently - started on time & ended on time which was huge. They were professional and did a good job. Would highly recommend B&R. No surprises.

I got three estimates for the project and I chose B & R because of Dave Bangust's thoroughness in explanation and the confidence that Dave demonstrated in his resolution plans. He wasn't selling a service; he KNEW it. I was warned that my house would be covered with dust from the digging out of the flooring. Dave said that would not be the case and he was right. I even had a couple of pieces of furniture in the basement and they had only a slight dusting. Dave and his men were respectful of my space and cleaned up very well after this large project. All refuse was removed by a basement window and nothing was tracked through my house. The finished product was outstanding! The village building inspector was impressed with the quality of the work. Everything was tested again and again to be sure that drainage was perfect. This basement project could have been a nightmare for me but with B & R it was an education in what skilled workmen with high standards can accomplish.

THE START TIME WAS PUSHED BACK DUE TO WEATHER & COINCIDING PROJECTS. I WAS THE ONE OBSERVING THE PROCESS, BUT THEY DIDN'T EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WERE DOING. NONE OF THE WORKERS, WHO WERE HERE FOR A WEEK, BOTHERED TO INTRODUCE THEMSELVES. THE FINISHED PROJECT SEEMS SATISFACTORY. I BELIEVE THEY MAY HAVE CREATED CHIPS IN OUR CONCRETE DRIVEWAY WITHOUT REPORTING IT TO US. THEY DID LEAVE WET CEMENT FOR MY FAMILY (INCLUDING OUR DOG) TO LEAVE HAND & FOOTPRINTS IN FOR POSTERITY.

DAVE EXPLAINED ENOUGH SO THAT I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH WHAT HE WAS DOING, BUT NOT SO MUCH THAT I WAS OVERWHELMED. HE WAS VERY CREATIVE IN SCHEDULING THE JOB TO WORK FOR BOTH OF US AND IN FIGURING THE BEST WAY TO GET THE MATERIALS INTO THE WORK AREA WITH THE LEAST TROUBLE. HE WAS FAST AND NEAT AND HAD THE BEST PRICE OF THE THREE CONTRACTORS I CONTACTED.
