Todd and his crew arrived on time, did the roof tear off, cleaned up absolutely everything and got the roof back under cover all in one day.  The crew was courteous and careful and did a grat job.  Everything was completed in the time originally stated.

Todd was extremely responsive in preparing and presenting his proposal and in performing the re-roofing job for our cottage in the Lauderdale Lakes area.  He arrived to do the work as scheduled, and did an excellent, professional job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Overall it went okay.  I was out of town and I had them do work on my rental property and its hard not being there.  He seemed to have done everything okay except that he left one side of the house that my renter said was still not working quite right.  So he had to go back.  I was just a little disappointed that he had just the whole house because that was one of the things that I wanted him to make sure that everything was okay.  Other than that everything else was fine.  He did put in some new things on the garage.  I know his pricing for new gutters was really high and he was the only quote I got on just the thing that was there.  He did not guarantee his work which was pretty bad.  He guaranteed the new gutters but he didn’t guarantee that he would fix anything.  I told him that if he can’t guarantee an old gutter but he can at least guarantee to fix what’s there.  That was kind of disturbing.  He was responsive and he did call back.  He didn’t avoid me at all.  I would probably not use their services again in the future.

I keep a critical eye on the quality of customer service. In my opinion Todd, the owner, knocked it out of the park. His estimate was done after completely looking the job over and recommending a course of action. He explained the job in full and made sure I understood what he was recommending and what he would do. I was so impressed that he was able to schedule the work right away. He arrived on time and worked the whole day to get the job done. I climbed on the roof several times during the day to look at progress and was very impressed with the quality of the work. As with every job, some adjustments need to be made as new information comes to light. I thought Todd was very adept at adjusting and making it work. The team spent the day up on my roof working intensively(and, I might add it was a cold day and there was a strong wind). Work was done and wrapped up in one day.

I have a 105-year old house with a worn back roof that needed replacement. Three other companies had come and bid the project, all from the ground. Todd drove out, looked in the attic, climbed the roof, measured by hand (other companies had overbid the project by up to 4 squares) and showed me the number of layers of material (3-5 layers of shingles plus cedar shakes, other companies bid based on removal of two layers total with unspecified extra charges for extra layers). The bid from Skyline was the most thorough, honest appraisal of the situation with no hidden fees (total costs were slightly higher than original estimate due to rotten wood found after tear-off. Each time Todd invited me to come up and see the area with him that needed replacement and approve the work, and he always came in under the estimate for the replacement cost). He also provided photos and references for other roofing projects he has done. The work was done very professionally, they cleaned up thoroughly every evening. The work was top-notch, looks great, and he even fixed up a broken corner of my vinyl siding since he had the tools along and it only took a minute. He also found a carpenter ant infestation in the rafters of one of the flat roofs and cleaned it out, as well. At one point they were walking a flat roof during tear-off and a foot went through some rotten wood, damaging the plaster ceiling below, I am currently getting estimates for the repair which Todd said he would cover with no hesitation. He was truly concerned with improving my house, not just completing a sale. I haven't found many businesses with such a strong ethic for building trust and exceeding expectations, I heartily recommend Skyline.

Everything that was quoted was completed as expected. The rotten wood was above and beyond the original quote but I was advised that might be the case before the contract was signed. They kept me updated and saved the rotten wood so that I could see it, so I felt confident they were replacing what they needed to.

I met with Todd Laue for an estimate. Since my roof is flat and has given me multiple problems with leakage, I wasn't sure if there was a better option for my flat roof, or if I should have a pitched roof built. After speaking with Todd I decided that a rubber roof was the way to go. When I received my estimate, Todd went through every aspect of the work and materials that would be used. I was able to pick from samples my shingle color and gutter/flashing color. It was one week later that they started work. They arranged for the garbage bin to be delivered. They cleaned up every night. They kept me posted throughout the job. They worked into the evening some days because they wanted to finish what they were doing before quitting for the day. And worked some Saturdays because they were working against potential bad weather. The whole job took 2 1/2 weeks with only two guys. It was a wonderful experience. I totally trust Todd from Skyline and would hire them again. A++++++
