We have used Premier on many occasions for remodeling our home and after the first time, about 7 years ago (a major project - finishing the attic), we never called anyone else. While they are not inexpensive, by any means, the quality of the work and their timeliness and commitment to the project at hand more than make up for the money. They have always worked with us on adjusting scope to our budget and been willing to consider our ideas for reducing the price (e.g. we do the painting rather than have them subcontract, we do some of the demo, we do daily cleanup, etc.). James and Scott care very much that the client is pleased with the work and will pretty much do whatever is necessary to make sure that is the case.
This work went well except for some fairly minor delays due to subcontractor schedules. The tear-out and new framing went amazingly quickly and was really exciting to see! We were doing the painting ourselves and Premier was able to give us about a two week window to work in before they came back to do all the finish woodwork, door installation and light and bathroom fixture installation.
Working on an old house can be a challenge. The plaster and lathe walls are messy, some of the old knob and tube electrical wiring still exists, and you just never know what you'll run into with the old construction methods and plumbing. Premier is always able to deal with some of the crazy things that come up and are great about communicating the issues to the homeowner and being clear about how (if any) the cost of the project will be affected.

Overall it was a positive experience. They did a really nice job. The price wasn't too expensive or too cheap. It was fair. Everything was pretty good. They did the work in a timely and professional manner. I would use them again.
