Crestline doors are total crap. Put in Crestline patio door 18 yrs ago in 2002 and now in 2020 the door is falling apart. When I inquired on warranty I was told I had a 2 yr warranty even though at Menard's they claim there is lifetime warranty. Crestline told me to buy a new door! DON'T BUY CRESTLINE!

Over all the experience was HORRID It is December now and the Cheap Doors are just that Cheap. The replacement of my Patio doors was the first step in a whole house remodel and I must state emphatically that Crest Line will not be anywhere else in my home
Description of Work: I fell in love with the Crestline French Patio Doors that are on display in every Menard’s. When I saw they were on sale I ordered them. It took two months to get them. When they arrived and were installed in my home I rushed home to see them. They are Terrible for the following reasons: Cheap looking Pine. The stain that looks great in Big box lighting (called golden oak) is a glaring orange pumpkin color in my home. The interior stain was applied in a dusty environment and so the doors ended up so rough that I fear I may get a splinter from it. Even when firmly closed the two doors do not line up the doors came with only one lock, though the order was for two and clearly marked keyed alike the Grids which were supposed to be molded into the glass came and they are cheap click in grids with a big gash in the wood of these cheap grids The exterior finish has a big gash in the powder coat enamel exposing the bare metal. Of course I called customer service as Crestline is supposed to have “field reps” who will come to your home and inspect when there a major product complaints. The woman who answered the phone asked for my order which is just to the right of the state name. When I gave it to her she was terse and practically scolding me as I had given her a number that she could not find in her computer, so therefore I had given her the wrong number, she then hung up. I started an email complaint the same person responded stating she has accidentally hung up and said she found my order and if I had given her the correct number to begin with she could have helped! HER number and MY number did not match and neither of us ever found matching numbers ... (thank goodness for those little numbers on the inside of the glass on my door). Any way all Crestline did was send me a free can of spray paint for the outside gash. So I am taking a break from sanding my doors and re-staining I thought I should join Angie's list so I could warn you all of my experience with this provider of products for your homes.
