The mechanic informed me that the transmission was looking good and not the cause of my problem. I was given an estimate on the cost to fix the spring, pad, and the oil leak. The cost ranged from $300.00 to over $1,000.00 depending on exactly where the oil leak was coming from. The mechanic was very honest and even said that if it were him he would just drive it until it dies due to the age of the vehicle and minor oil leak. Overall it was a good experience and I will continue to use this service for my other vehicle.
