Employee asked us how he was supposed to put duct work in when we hired them. Never gave us a quote, said they wouldn't be able to do anything until the END of December (this appointment was made and done in September 2015). Unhooked air conditioner during this appointment as well, electrical and all. Duct work got done by another company due to the fact that I have 2 kids under 3 and needed it done ASAP because winter was right around the corner- the other company did a wonderful job and was out the same week of hire. Fast forward to Monday June 05, 2017- called Monroe heating and sheet metal, made an appointment to reconnect the A/C only appointment I was able to get was on Tuesday June 20,2017. Friday June 16, 2017 I get a call back from receptionist stating I have to have an electrician come and do the electrical work because they no longer do the service. Finding an electrician in such short notice is not easy, especially on a Friday afternoon. We found one got the electrical stuff done and was ready for the service to be done on Tuesday June 20, 2017. Jordan- an employee comes and is very professional, respectful, explains everything very well, but states a coil is missing in the furnace, and mentions his boss has a quote for a new a/c unit and he'd have him contact me. The boss- Brad- calls and is very unprofessional on the phone. Once again, asks how they are supposed to do the duct work, I mention the duct work is done. Says he's not doing the a/c service for us because we went and hired someone else for the duct work, didn't let me say much during the phone call without interruption, was very ignorant. I will not be calling this company for any more services, nor will I be recommending them.

Never had any issues. We really trust them they have a valuable service. They response well to all of our questions. They do good work. They are high priced but very worth it. 

I don't like that I have to call them to make appointments. I feel like they should call us each year to set up appointment dates.  We think they should make a "call back" list to follow up and make new appointments.

Tom came to my house and sat down and explained the 3 options I had for installing the furnace and air. He explained in detail the differences in terms I could understand. He answered all my questions. It was a rainy/muddy day when it was installed. You could not even tell they were in the house. Awesome job.

My son needed a new furnace and a/c but had a very limited budget. Not only did Kevin Winkler do an excellent job in coming to do an exact estimate, he respected the budget limitations. The install was completed in 1 day and the work area was pristine when they left. Tracey in the office was extremely helpful in explaining payment options and other issues. I had this company do my system about 4 years ago and had the same experiences. We are both very happy with Monroe Sheet Metal and Heating.

While compiling the estimate, Tom said that I would need some updates to my electrical main. He explained exactly what I would need and why. Since I had planned to increase my panel capacity anyway, this was a good reason to proceed. After that was done, the install date for the furnace and a/c was chosen to fit my schedule. The crew arrived precisely at the scheduled time, and began the tear out of the old unit. It was done so cleanly that I was immediately able to convert the space to a much needed closet. Not only was the crew truly professional and friendly, they worked fast and had the job completed in one day (even though it was expected to take longer). Since the old furnace was a downflow and the new would be upflow, Tom had calculated the best placement and style of return air registers. The registers are low profile and do not stand out into the room space. And the new duct work is high quality stainless. Finally, an easy to use and easy to read programmable thermostat was installed. But before leaving I was given a complete explanation of how everything works, and the assurance that if there was any problem to contact them. It's been 3 1/2 years and I can't believe how wonderful it is to have a quality Trane unit which is quiet, efficient, and does not take up lots of space in the basement.

They are very professional and very friendly. They are very careful coming through the house and they put on little booties to walk through. They always explain what they have done afterwards and what they found. I would say they are very dependable and knowledgeable. I would say their price is a little high. We would use them again in the future.

They were terrific. They were thorough as well. They showed up when they were supposed to, and finished the work faster than we expected. They made sure we knew how everything worked, programming thermostat, changing filter, etc., and we felt really confident when they left. We saved $400 on our heating bill last season, and our electric bills have been very reasonable.

We discovered our central air conditioner was leaking coolant and would need to be replaced. Last fall I received quotes from three area hvac companies. Kevin from Monroe Heating and Sheet Metal came to our home talked to us about what we would need and came in with the best quote. We waited until the spring promotions to come out before we replaced our furnace and air conditioner. The price went up a little, but we made up for it with additional rebates that were offered. Our installation was scheduled for 2 days and was completed in one. The technicians were scheduled to arrive at 8:30am and arrived 20 minutes early! They got to work right away. I had to leave for work and by the time I got home at 2pm the installation was almost complete. They went over the operation, how to change the filter and how to operate the thermostat. They were cleaned up and gone by 3pm. Since the installation we have taken advantage of both the furnace and a/c and been very happy with each. I have since recommended them to a friend and she has had them replace a furnace and central air as well. Almost forgot, their office staff is great to work with too!

They were very prompt with their service. They were very responsive and punctual for the service. They did a good job and they took the time to clean up after themselves. I will continue to use them in the future.
