It went as expected. Service promised - service delivered.  We have used Corey multiple times and every time he comes through for us.

These folks are great to work with and do a good job.  We've had them do several projects for us, like decks, exterior panting, staining, and interior painting.  All went well.  They are proud of their work and don't just cover problems up with paint.

Corey and Kathy Nolan are a good-natured husband and wife team who do outstanding painting work together.  They return calls promptly,  show up when they say they will, and do a professional job.  When they first came out to the house to look over the job, they handed me a list of references before they left, without my asking--always a good sign in my book.  I hired them after talking with at least five references who all had good things to say, including that they would hire the Nolans again.  (Several of them have hired the Nolans more than once.)  All the work they did for us was top-notch and performed in a timely manner.  Their prices were competitive and we got the quality job we paid for.  While you could take your chances with someone who might give you a cheaper bid, I still marked "excellent" for Nolan's pricing because it was a competitively priced bid to start with and, when there was some minor confusion (might have been my fault) about whether some small part of the work was included in the original bid, they handled it quickly and fairly with a reasonable compromise. 

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Nolans to others for any painting work--large jobs or small.  They've been a pleasure to work with.

see above.  Finding a good painter/handyman up here in the Northwoods is not an easy thing.  We have had bad experiences with significantly over-priced bids and unreliable people not showing when they said they would.  We feel blessed to have found Corey and Kathy and I would highly recommend them.

Nolan Painting did a great job all around. Our place is quite old, and so it takes someone that knows what they are doing and takes pride in their work to do a job that lasts. They were great about communicating what they found while doing the job and taking the extra steps to do it right.
