When I called, Bruce was extremely nice and said he'd be there until 5:00pm. I arrived at 4:30pm, and although I offered to come back the following day to pick it up, he was happy to fix it while I waited. He even told me to come back to his work room to watch if I wanted! Very nice guy.

Very friendly, personal service.

There was a couch, oversize chair, two smaller chair, and a recliner. They also repaired the couch before covering.

They both got done in a timely fashion but the quality of work was overpriced.

I brought 1 chair and 3 pads from our dining room chairs  for upholstering to the store. They provided options of choosing new fabrics or to choose from available remnants which would remove shipping costs for new material. The owner provided me with samples to take home to match my home furnishing.   I found a remnant fabric I liked and I appreciated the option of saving some money.  The foam material seem substantial and the pattern was well positioned on the seat. They were professional in their interactions and their pricing is fair.  I would recommend them to others.

Bruce made some suggestions and let me look at all the material books! I found a material I liked, he requested a small deposit to order it and I told him I would drop off the 6 chairs seats in in 2 days. He said he would be in my area the next day and offered to pick them up! Really nice!  He also told me it would take about 2 weeks. He phoned me a week later and said the seats were done! When I went in to pick up the seats and pay the balance, he told me that if I had any trouble attaching them back onto the chair frames that he would send his son (who also works in the shop) to  take care of it for me! 
I'm telling you, he's the best. Always has been, always will be.

His workmanship is great and prices were reasonable.  He's very easy and accommodating to work with.  I'd highly recommend his services.

It went great. He was very communicative throughout the process, was a really fun and easygoing guy to work with and is incredibly talented at what he does. The fabric selection was fabulous.  It took a tad longer than expected but it truly was a complicated, intricate job. I have included some pictures.  Mary

Bruce Zastrow really came to my rescue by recovering our sofa that had been reuphostered very badly. My wife and I went from tears to smiles after seeing Zastrow's expertly detailed work. He added stuffing to the piece, tightened the cover (it was very poorly fitted), added cover fabric, retied springs, and cleaned up wood trim beautifully.
Don't believe BBB reports on Zastrow's attitude or pieces returned to you smelling smokey. Our experience was completely professional and satisfying. Turn around time was weeks before we expected to get our sofa back. This is a family owned business that aims to satisfy it's customers: and we are. . . completely!

Zastrow Upholstery was able to complete the work in four days. He did good work. I was very please. He was able to accommodate my needs for a quick turn around.

We needed to replace some cushions for a long settee bench in our family room. The dimensions were very unique-2 cushions14.75"w x 5', 5"L. We knew the general "neighborhood" of color range and pattern size we wanted and Bruce worked with us to zone in on a few select swatches of fabric to take home and decide on. He met his estimated price and 4 weeks completion date and we were very satisfied with his advice and the quality of the end product. They fit the space perfectly. A very professional job with no hassles.

I called Bruce. He was friendly and could obviously not give an estimate over the phone without seeing the fabric, but said the request sounded like something they could do. I brought the slipcover in 2 days later. He gave me an estimate of $5.00 to repair it and said it would be ready in a few hours. He called 4 hours later to say it was ready. The charge was in fact $5 and I can't even tell where the original tear was. They did a great job.
