WINTERS GROUP LLC

The Winters Group (Bob, Dave and Mike) was very responsive to our requests, needs, questions, etc.  They were on time for all appointments and took their time explaining everything to us.  They listened well and were open to all our ideas.  They always tried to give us what we wanted, not what they wanted to do.  They helped us work through all design issues by doing everything they could to make us happy and if something couldn't be done, they explained it thoroughly and worked with us to come up with an alternative. We explained to them our need to have the project done on time and they did everything they could to finish ahead of schedule.  They gave us a realistic schedule with wiggle room and kept to it.  Even when we added more work, they focused on completing on schedule.  No only did they finish on time, but they finished slightly ahead of schedule.   The demolition of the bathrooms and kitchen was excellent.  Ruben not only worked quickly and accurately but also very neatly.  There was never any debris around the condo.  As quickly as stuff was removed, it was taken out of the condo.  Floors and walls were protected as well as access to other rooms to keep the dust down.   The rebuilding of each area was done methodically and professionally.  From the dry wall to the plumbing, tile and electrical, everything was handled extremely well.   I highly recommend the Winters Group for any and all remodeling projects.  Bob and Dave did everything possible to keep us happy and to complete everything we wanted done on time.  Mike, who was on site, was always available either in person or on the phone.  Messages (voice mail or text) were always returned promptly, even on the weekends.  I never had a hard time getting hold of anyone.   We are very happy with the work performed.

They did work for about 3 months and then the bill came out too high for my budget. They could have told me that it would be expensive. They do good work but they are always pushing for high costs.

THEIR CONTRACTORS ARE UNRELIABLE AND IT WAS HARD GETTING THE WORK FINISHED, BUT THE DESIGN OF THE PROJECT WAS TOP NOTCH. BILL WINTERS IS AN EXCELLENT DESIGNER, BUT THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THERE CLIENTS BETTER.

WINTERS GAVE US A GOOD DEAL ON THE PRELIMINARY WORK THEY DID, BUT THE OVERALL ESTIMATE TURNED OUT TO EXCEED OUR BUDGET SUBSTANTIALLY, SO WE DID NOT GO FORWARD. THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT ONE ASPECT OF WHAT WE WANTED DONE, WHICH IS REFLECTED IN THE REDUCED GRADE I GAVE THEM FOR PRICE
