Mr. Leiner came over and proceeded to make a makeshift prop with 2x4's and said that this should hold it until insurances take care of it. Every time after that any phone conversations with either myself or my husband he became very angry and brash. telling us to shut up, suck it up and other things like that. he threatened us with a lawyer etc.... His professionalism is very poor and was unwilling to help with the repairs.
We got quotes for the repair at $4200 range and we went after his insurance company. His insurance company came over and gave us a check for 1/2 the total cost of the repair and said thats all we get. I had to make a claim against my home owners insurance which covered nothing. In the end. My quoted Insulation job from this company ended up costing me themoney I paid him to do the job (minus 500 for not finishing) and all the costs that was not covered by his insurance company which equaled out to the same cost of the original contract. so I paid 4k for a 2k insulation job.
6 months later we finally got the ceiling fixed by another company and are back to normal life. I just made my last of 6 payments to the restoration company this month. I spoke to mr leaner to ask when will I expect some repayment for the total of what I paid to fix my ceiling and was verbally threatened. but he did sen me 2 checks for $150 and will not pay any more.
Please make sure they verify that they are fully insured and we now have learned a new term to use when in a situation like this. You must tell the insurance adjustors I want it returned to whole.
I suggest you steer far away from this company, their business practices are that of any other crooked company you may see on the news and his customer relation skill are horrible.
"The ceiling did crack when we were filling the slopes of the ceiling. We have done six other units this same way no damage. We found this property to be constructied differently. So with this we gave tehm our insurance co info. The homeowners sign a general release form on Feb 20th 2015 for $1935.10 for all damages. Homeowner then called me and said cost was greater so I made for donation payments of $150.00 each = $600.00. This was a true accident. I feel we went to the extreme to help with this accident. pd 150.00 8/21/15 pd 150.00 9/4/15 pd 150.00 9/28/15 pd 150.00 10/21/15 Thank you, Tony"
He is enthusiastic about his work. He checked the entire house, outside and inside, then the attic and gave us a recommendation for our attic insulation along with placing insulation around a shower ceiling fan, whose can is in the attic area, and an additional quote if we wanted to do some work in the future. (Options are a good thing). We scheduled the work, his guys arrived, set up, did the work, finished, cleaned up and were gone.
Tony called for a follow up with us to see how everything went.
Overall, an excellent experience. We recommended him to our neighbor.
P.S. he suggested we give them our digital camera for before and after photos...Awesome!!!
He did not try to sell me anything since the house looked good. He made one recommendation. I will definitely use his service again .
First rate all around.
