"We generally apply for the required permits for residential equipment installation on the day of the job. This is our practice for two reasons: 1. if a job cancels, most municipalities will not refund permit fees; 2. most municipalities require a sketch of where the outdoor air conditioning unit will be placed; so we feel it is a good practice to offer that choice to the consumer the day of the job so they can get a true visualization of the units appearance in the desired location. There was a miscommunication on that job as far as a municipal ordinance which was changed approximately one month prior to the units installation; our comfort advisor was aware of this change and our installer was not. There was about one extra hour of time involved on the day of the job getting clarification on this change. The customer was not billed extra for this time and the job was still completed in one day as promised. I apologize for the miscommunication but ultimately the unit was installed in the originally agreed upon place. We always try to give the customer the best possible experience with our company, I'm sorry this customer does not feel he had a good experience with us."
