The vet and staff were great, we adopted a puppy from the humane society... so we had a free vet exam. The person who answered the phone was very helpful in making the appointment and said even if it was after the 10days they would honor to free certfiicate. When we came in they were great with our puppy (who is kind of a moose), they checked his stool also for us. we found out he had an ear infection and worms!! the worm treatmnet was only $20 some dollars. and the whole visit charging for the rabies vaccine, stool check, antibotics for his ear, and a ear drying fluid for when he goes swiming. was i believe around 90-100. so cheap! and they gave us a free sample of the heartguard and frontline! they were so wonderful. We have to take a 2nd sample in to recheck for worms and get a weight for his advantix they said we can stop in anytime to do that. The staff is great and the doctor is very personable and great with the animals. I love that we can stay in the room when they exam our puppy, ive been to some vets that wont let you in the room anymore... We will be going here for a long time :)

We have been going to West Allis for awhile now. They always to such a good job with our pets. Yes, pets. We have 4 of them, 2 dogs and 2 cats. 3 of them have medical conditions which they have to take medications daily. So, yes we visit the vet a lot. Dr. Nelson is the vet of choice for us for the dogs. We even get our grooming services done their too for the dogs. Anyway, I would recommend West Allis Animal Hospital to anyone. They do a really good job with our pets.

They always take wonderful care of our animals. The staff are friendly and caring - not just animal people, but people-people too. Their lobby is always clean and pleasant, and their exam rooms are up to date and well stocked. They are very professional here, but they don't charge as much as some other vets I've been to! I trust their opinion the first time I hear it, and I do not feel like I need to go and find a second opinion. They recommend the best care for our animals while respecting the fact that we're not made of money.

They call, they follow up and all the staffs are very good. They're just phenomenal. They check on your pet to follow up how it was doing and to see what things you need. When I had problem after the surgery, they were there for my pet. Everything was done to our satisfaction. They give you options and they take care of you. Their facility is great and they have a lot of room. The people there are very accommodating and they're really something else. They know you there and they remember you when you come in.

Our old dog had what appeared to be a stroke. (vestibular syndrome) Dr Nelson was knowledgable, conservative and correct. Our dog did get better without excessive diagnostic testing.

Cat was well taken care of, in a clean environment. They gave him two connected cubbies since he's a big cat. On the previous visit they also gave him a distemper shot and quick exam. We have taken him there twice for boarding and would do it again if needed. $16 per day.

Totally positive experience. I was kept well informed throughout the day on the status of my pets. Everyone from start to finish are truly caring and professional. All my questions were answered and follow up care was explained in complete detail. Pathology results were phoned to me and explained in a very timely manner, All the vets are wonderful, my personal favorites are Dr Shari Severson and Dr David Mentjes.
