Very good! i have hired them several times and I will recommend them.

We were our own GC for the basement remodel. That meant creating a schedule and having multiple visits by Viking’s plumbers. Their team was awesome with every step. From providing detailed and line-item estimates to fitting us in with their other jobs and arriving when they said they would. This is a general review. We have used Taagen/Viking for many years for our plumbing needs. We have been very happy with all of their services.

It couldn't have gone any better. There were some unexpected hiccups in the process but Jesse handled them excellently. They were professional, on time, thorough, and everything you hope for when hiring a plumber. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Instantly diagnosed the problem and fixed it within minutes

The work proceeded smoothly, the team showed up on time and quickly assessed the work to be done and split up to begin addressing the various issues. One of the drains to be unclogged was an old drum trap. The suggestion was to replace it with a modern P-trap. The cost of this was prohibitive, so they offered to remove the trap and properly cap the drain. This was not an issue for us since the tub it was connected to is not used. He also provided an estimate to replace the drain, should we need to reactivate it.

We have used Viking for prior routine plumbing issues. When we started thinking about adding a basement bathroom with a soaking tub (a bit more complicated), Viking was a company I definitely wanted an estimate from. Our General Contractor had "a guy" who could do the plumbing, cheaper. When it comes to a complicated job like this one, I want someone who knows what they are doing at the outset. We decided we wouldn't do the project unless we could afford to hire Viking. Many times during the project we said we were so glad Viking was on the job. They spent time thinking about how the tub connection would work in the basement. They were fast and efficient at getting the city inspector in to keep the project moving. When we ran into problems, such as a cracked sink, they came back as soon as we had replacement parts. They had reliable communication with the GC. When we thought the tub drain was getting a bit stuck, they came back to tinker with it. All of these things were included under the initial estimate--no surprises on cost. A further consideration was that much of the time the project was going on we were at work. I felt comfortable having the Viking crew in my home. They had the code to our door and gave us good information about when they would be here. Every reno project has some surprises, and I was grateful I had hired a company who could adapt to issues, maintain communication, and come back in a timely manner when problems were resolved. No regrets!

I bought a DW from a big box store and had them install. Big mistake. The big box retailer knew the DW install was defective and shoved wadded paper towel under the ne DW to stave off evidence of a leak, for the short term.

Once DW flooded basement, Taagen, also called Viking Plumbing, identified the issue....and also replaced a valve that the other installer broke.

These guys are pros. And thoughtful.

The representative over-the-phone was fantastic, kept me up-to-date as a plumber fit a visit to my condo in-between regularly scheduled appointments.  Both the plumber and the representative took my work schedule into account in order to help me.  They even waived any fee associated with a last minute, rush service.  This will be my go-to plumber for all water and gas services going forward!
