The owner came by ahead of time to talk about the job, and I gave him a list of our priorities, since I was sure they would not be able to do everything in 8 hours.  He and his crew came as scheduled, and worked longer than they were contracted for, trying to finish everything even though they understood I didn't expect that.  I was very pleased and will use them again.

They do a great job! One hour in & out. Trustworthy, kind, efficient & accommodating.

Lilian was pleasant and professional and I am grateful they were able to get us in very quickly.  But the quality of service was lacking.  I could barely notice anything done.  The counter tops looked the same, etc.  We had VA a number of years back clean the 2nd floor of said house and it was an incredible, thorough, really great job.  I was so happy and impressed.  As well -- back then, the house was fully furnished and Vicente quoted me $225 for the whole house vs. $300 completely empty now.  Yikes.  Unfortunate turn.  I emailed and asked for a response before I posted my review but did not hear back... which makes me think, they got the $ so all done. ):  I'm left disappointed and confused by VA unfortunately.

We love coming home to a clean house after the crew performs their magic.

Over the last year, VA Cleaning has tried repeatedly to clean less and charge more. When I took out two rooms, they reduced the cost by only $15, but when I tried to add them back, the rate went up $65! When I requested a firm cost for time, we agreed on 4 people for 1.5 hours. After 3-4 cleanings when they did not work the full time, I asked for a refund or more hours cleaning. They did neither, but consistently left early with work to be done. For instance, cabinets, woodwork and switch plates were left dirty, they never vacuumed under couches or rugs, and beds weren't made. Their full routine merely consisted of spot vacuuming and superficially cleaning the baths and kitchen.

VA Cleaning has been performing the cleaning of our townhome for several years. They are very good at what they doo -- cleaning, dusting, floor scrubbing, appliances inside/outside. Very professional with a great worker/leader who is very discplined in customer satisfaction.

They are generally prompt and courteous and very reliable and trust worthy.

I have used this company, usually twice a month, for a number of years. Before hiring them I used or individuals or companies, or at least interviewed them. They are the best, and, given the nature of the business, probably as good as they can be. The workers are t trained, and they are supervised on the job. I have only had a few experiences where I have had to contact management, but that has always been about work that has not been done, or done properly. If I am at home when they leave, and check the work myself, they are happy to redo something not done to my liking. I have no problem going out while they are at my house.
I mentioned the "nature of the business". This refers to the inevitable turnover among workers, as well as when to expect people who are doing a number of houses in one day (some of which have extra jobs, or may be cancelled at the last minute). I have found Vincente and the others at the office to be very responsive when I do have a complaint, or if I have a problem with a crew being late (or occasionally too early). They are also very good about rescheduling.

About 3 months ago I called them and scheduled an appointment and they NEVER SHOWED UP.  I have called them 3 times to try to reschedule or find out what happened - NO RESPONSE and NO CALL BACKS from my voicemails. 
I am so frustrated.
They have always been a bit pricey, but I thought they were worth it because they were so thorough and Vincent would personally come to the house to be sure the work was being done well.
However, given the lack of call backs and the fact that they never showed up at their scheduled time - I want to warn people about them.  It is very disappointing.

Vincente & crew are always punctual & do an excellent job - very courteous & house looks wonderful every time.

They do an excellent job. You can tell that they have been here because the quality is great, but you would think they hadn't because there is no disturbance in the house. They always put everything back its original place. They call to say when they are going to come so there is never a surprise. They are also very flexible with their schedule.

VA Cleaning has always communicated if they need to arrive late or change time their crew is always polite and works quickly.

They came and gave us an estimate about a year ago, and since then they have been coming every other week.  They email us the day before with the estimated time they'll arrive and are very flexible if we need to reschedule.  They are extremely careful and mostly thorough.  If there's something we need them to do, or they didn't take care of, it's easy to communicate with them.  The one time they broke something (the glass plate in the microwave), one of the owners came that evening to get the model number and a replacement was delivered to us in a few days.  I recommend them highly.

Have been using VA for several years.  We are thrilled with with efficiency and work quality - they even take their shoes off before entering the house.  The employees are all very friendly.

They were incredible. I could not have been happier with the work. They even hauled away an entire truckload of items from the garage.

I got them from Angie’s List. They do a very nice job. They are very efficient and they are in and out. Their price is reasonable. They are very good about responsiveness and punctuality.

We didn't even ask them to clean the whole house!   With 5 workers and 2 hours I was told that they "would try their best to do a good job, but with such little time..."  I hired them for an extra  third hour because I wanted it be thoroughly cleaned and was told that I had to pay for 2 additional workers.  So after paying them $420 for 3 hours....which I don't think they stayed the entire time, I ended up with a half cleaned house that I could have done myself in 2 hours.  Never again!

I have a very mixed feeling regarding the company, we have used them for several years but recently stopped using them. The good parts are that there are a couple of cleaning teams (those led by Juana and Angie) that are fantastic.  These teams are courteous and do an excellent job and are well worth the cost.Unfortunately there are many negatives to the company.  The owner, Vicente, can be very difficult to deal with if there is something that you are not pleased about.  For example, a $150 object was accidentally broken during a cleaning (the only thing I think was broken in the entire time that we used VA cleaning).  Before providing reimbursement, he demanded a receipt for a replacement of the object, and not only demanded a copy of the receipt, but the actual receipt itself.  He would routinely promise to send a requested team (we requested the same team, both for consistency and because they were great) but then after months of sticking with this, he would, out of the blue, send a different team.  Sometimes when these other teams would come, they would arrive late with no notification or only an email sent the afternoon/evening before.  Some of these other teams would not stay for the contracted amount of time or would do suboptimal work.  The lack of predictability was difficult to deal with and created stress in a situation that should have been reducing our stressOverall then, if we could have had one of the two excellent cleaning teams on a regular basis, I would have loved to continue with VA.  Because of the continued schedule changing, and then eventually being told that our request for one of these two teams would no longer be honored (despite us being willing to have the cleaning scheduled anytime between 8 and 2, any day of the week), we have discontinued VA.  The price was excellent when the service was reliable and of high quality, but not worth the price or inconvenience or frustration with varying teams doing cleaning of questionable quality for varying amounts of time during each cleaning (though always for the same price).  His secretary Veronica (I think) seems to be an excellent job of trying to satisfy customers to the best of her ability.

A time before, I used them for total housecleaning. They are a little on the high side, but they have large groups that come in. I think it is a little fair. They are very punctual.

The cleaning was very well done = A+, during a two-year period.

The problem was that too many times something was broken or damaged. We would come upon these items in subsequent days. For example, a broken item may have been set upright to look unbroken. It is possible that the owner was not told about the damage/breakage even though he supposedly was with his team during the cleaning period. (We were not.) He did report to us about one item that he himself broke. The damage/breakage frequency lowered te the grade for quality.

On two occasions we found that the house was insecure by an open window that we didn't find until many days later because, for example, the blinds were drawn. In one case we found the window crank had come off and that it was set back in place. Failure to report the open window with broken crank and instead leaving the house insecure appears negligent. This lowered their grade for professionalism and responsiveness.

A couple of times they forgot to come on the appointed day. This lowered their score for punctuality.

Otherwise, the owner was always willing to work us into his schedule with only a few days notice and stated that he wants very much to satisfy the customer. The cleaning itself was excellent.

I spent $150 on their services.  They’re very thorough especially with the quarterly cleaning because the owner usually comes home.  I also think the price is fair.  I just get better results than I’ve had with other cleaners.  They‘re not perfect but they’re close.  I think the price is fair.  I will use them again in the future.
