My dog started with Barb Theune 5 yrs ago and is back for a "tuneup". I have used other trainers and other venues over the years, and always I am glad that Barb was my dog's first trainer. Classes are small very well organized, with much individual attention given to each dog and handler. Dogs are taught to respond to social cues and reinforcers rather than treats. I highly recommend both Barb and Cheryl. TrimTime training is tops!

NEVER GO TO TRIM TIME! I have been reluctantly taking my four dogs to Trim Time for grooming for years. They are usually a little rude when making appointments and picking up the dogs. Never very friendly, but I can't find a better place near me for the price. Getting four dogs groomed every few months is expensive. This past Saturday I lost track of time, and forgot to pick up my dog on time. The only one I had groomed was the oldest, who is blind and diabetic. I was supposed to have picked him up at 4:45. At 5:05 the clerk called me and was incredibly rude, saying that he would have to stay until Monday. Without his meds! I was very apologetic and begged her to stay, that I would be there in ten minutes and would pay her cash to stay the extra time. She was very condescending and reprimanding and would not agree to stay. She said she would call her manager to discuss it with her. While she was doing that, I jumped in the car and drove there as fast as I could. I didn't even put on shoes, which she later insulted me about. She called me back while I was driving to tell me I'd better be there by 5:15 exactly or she would lock up. i was speeding already and might not make it until 5:17, but she didn't care! By that time I was screaming and telling her that if she left my dog would die before Monday, and I'd have to call the police. She was relentless in her lecturing of me. I've never, ever been treated so rudely by any business in my life. TRUST ME! TAKE THE TIME TO FIND A BETTER PLACE FOR YOU DOGS!!!

I adopted a 100-lb male rescue dog with very long hair who was abused and can be anxious and stubborn. I give him a sedative before going to the groomer, but he is still loud and obnoxious. I ask for him to be given a "sport cut" every summer. Chris does such a nice job on his coat. He has no tail and Chris trims around the backend so it looks somewhat normal. She also leaves his hair a little longer on his face, which makes him extra cute. Chris is so good with him. When I pick him up, I hear him in the back "carrying on" and I feel awful--apologizing for is behavior, but Chris and the staff are always nice about it. This time he came out with a little red, white and blue yarn bow in his hair. He looked adorable. I would recommend Trim Time for grooming any day.

I've been taking my pet there for a long time. My pet comes back looking good and clean. I haven't compared their prices to anyone. I've always been going to them and it is convenient for me. I would use their services again in the future.

I've used Trim Time to board my dog for almost 7 years and had found them to be a friendly, reasonably-priced place. The manager who used to cover the scheduling and front desk was efficient and helpful. Over the last 6 months to a year, however, their level of service and responsiveness has deteriorated dramatically. A few months ago, they got dates mixed up for boarding, booked my dog twice for the same dates, charged a late cancellation fee - and when we pointed out out the mistake was on their end, were very dismissive and rude. They did drop the fee but the whole experience (coupled with the sense that it is getting too cramped and had taken on staff that does not particularly care for animals) sent me looking for a new place to board. I am now using North Shore Doggie Day Care around the corner on Florist Ave and it has been wonderful. Their focus is day care, but they do overnight boarding too. It's an open space and new facility. The owners and staff are helpful, flexible and seem to have great affection for the dogs. They recently added a groomer too. It's more expensive but I highly recommend it.

Trim Time Pet Center can also board animals. I can get my dog in right away and the price is right. I feel like they do a good job and that they are very professional. They are very friendly and they treat the animals good.

I have used Trim Time for several years and always have had friendly and professional service. Maggie loves it there - I just have to say Trim Time and she runs to the door with her tail wagging up a storm.

They stick to your request. My dog always looks adorable when he comes home. They have multiple options. When I come to pick him up, he is always done on time. The staff is very friendly.

Very attentive to my desires. Excellent traditional Airedale cut and very affordable.

The dog seems happy and he is nicely groomed with his nails clipped.

I have taken my dog here for about four years. After her particular groomer left, it got harder and harder to bring her in, because she would tremble harder and harder each time and try to pull away from the door. I'm not sure why, so this is the last time I took her.

My frustration with this company is with their pricing and lack of flexibility with regards to dogs that need to stay overnight and then go into their day care the next day. Even when you schedule this in advance (pre-register), they insist that you drive to the kennel the morning after the dog stays overnight and check your dog out, go out to the parking lot with your dog, and then turn around and bring your dog back in the building and check him in again. The dog then returns to the same kennel you just checked him out of moments before. I feel this is a poor service for customers who register in advance for day care. It is an inconvenience and it tortures the dog by thinking he is leaving the kennel and then you turn right around and take him back in again. If you don't show up to do this ''dance'', they charge you a second overnight fee even if you pick your dog up before 5pm. I can understand this if a customer just leaves their dog all day but not if they pre-register.

We love Trim Time! They know our dog so well, even when we call on the phone and mention her name. Even though our dog is very much a stick with her own family kind of dog, she LOVES going to Trim Time! She goes for what we call "dog camp" when we go on vacation (we even call to see how she's doing and they give us a report)and to what we call "dog beauty salon/spa" for grooming. She even likes this (but not when we do it ourselves at home!) Even if we have her boarded without grooming, she never smells "doggy" when we pick her up. Call way in advance, this is a popular place!

MY ONLY CONCERN IS THAT I ASKED THEM TO CALL WHEN THE DOG WAS READY and THEY HAVE FAILED TO FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTION. EVERY OTHER ASPECT OF THE SERVICE IS SATISFACTORY. I APPRECIATE THE BOW THEY PUT IN HER EAR WHEN SHE'S DONE. THEY DO FOLLOW OTHER SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS I'VE GIVEN.

I WAS TREATED RUDELY BY EMPLOYEES AND MY DOG DID NOT WANT TO GO FOR HER GROOMING APPOINTMENT. MY DOG HAD BEEN REFUSING TO ENTER THE FACILITY FOR GROOMING (WHICH SHE HAD BEEN GOING TO FOR MONTHS) WHICH IS UNUSUAL, SO I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL AS SHE LOVES GROOMING AND USUALLY YANKS MY ARM OFF TO GET TO HER GROOMER, BUT NOT AT THIS PLACE. I FEEL THAT SHE WAS NOT TREATED WELL I WILL NEVER RETURN. SIDE NOTE; I ASKED ABOUT DOG TRAINING. I WAS TOLD THE TYPE I HAD DONE WAS NOT THE RIGHT TYPE, THE TYPE THAT THEY DID FOR DISNEY DOGS, SO THEY REFUSED MY DOGS FOR TRAINING AND I WAS NOT REFERRED ANYWHERE ELSE. THEY DID NOT CARE WAS MY TAKE ON THE WHOLE THING.

WHEN YOU'RE DOG GOES IN THERE WITH IT'S TAIL WAGGING, YOU KNOW THEY ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF.

THEIR TRAINERS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND ARE FLEXIBLE-ALWAYS RESPONDED TO QUESTIONS BY PHONE AND IN CLASS

JUST OK. I DIDN''T FEEL LIKE THEY REALLY CARED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER ABOUT MY DOG. THEY DIDN''T REALLY GREET HIM (OR ME, FOR THAT MATTER), JUST TOOK HIM BY THE LEASH AND LED HIM BACK. I DIDN''T FEEL ALL THAT COMFORTABLE WHEN I LEFT HIM. ALSO, WHEN I MADE MY APPOINTMENT (I MADE IT CLEAR I HAD NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE) THEY DIDN''T TELL ME TO BRING VET PAPERWORK. LUCKILY I DID, BUT I WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT AWAY WITHOUT IT. THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE THAT CLEAR WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT. PROBABLY WON''T GO BACK .

THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME I BROUGHT MY DOG TO BE GROOMED AND THE PRICES HAVE GONE UP EVERY TIME EVEN WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE PRICE WHEN SETTING THE APPOINTMENT. I WAS GOING BECAUSE THEY ARE SO CONVENIENT TO MY HOUSE, BUT I PROBABLY WON''T GO BACK.
