TRADEWIND PRODUCTS

Tradewind Products has got to be the most reasonable frame/art supply shop around. I think this must be due to their low business overhead. They operate out of a very old storefront on south KK Ave. that barely has a sign on the outside. I worked with John at Tradewind on framing a very odd shaped poster that I had bought at a music festival. It was clear from the beginning that it would require custom framing due to its size and die cut. I picked out a colored matte board to mount it on and then a metal frame. (Note: Go to this framing shop on a sunny day. Their building leaves a lot to be desired in the natural light department.) I had Tradewind cut the the frame, matte board, foam core backing board, and glass. Since I am somewhat handy, I decided to assemble the frame myself to save money. The folks at Tradewind Products gave me advice on how to mount the poster to the matte board. I picked up the frame three days later and assembled it with no problems. My poster looks great!

THE FRAMING WAS DONE VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND THE LEAST EXPENSIVE OF ANY PLACE I'VE TRIED. THEY ALSO PUT A RUSH JOB ON IT FOR ME AND I HAD MY FRAMED PICTURES BY THE END OF THE WEEK. VERY GOOD WORK, VERY FRIENDLY, I WILL GO BACK.

I BELIEVE THAT THEY ONLY CARRY METAL FRAMES. BUT THEIR PRICES ARE EXCELLENT. AND THEY ALSO HAVE GREAT PRICES FOR ALL KINDS OF ART SUPPLIES.

PRICES ARE GOOD, NOT A BIG SELECTION BUT A GOOD SELECTION. WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO PUT THE FRAME TOGETHER OR FOR A SMALL FEE THEY WILL PUT IT TOGETHER. THE PRICES ARE VERY, VERY REASONABLE.
