Bob was very responsive to an original modest request to repair existing newer flashing to stop leaks into 2nd floor ceiling. Gave good quote of $150 over phone after driving by. Arrived within promised time frame and discovered existing cement block cracked and crumbling. Recommended full replacement to guarantee against leaks. Gave new quote of $550 and promised quick turnaround. I called 2 other companies, one said they couldn't do it and suggested a siding company with a brake to bend new flashing, the other never responded. So I went with Bob's quote for lack of adequate competition. Bob said he's known all around Bay View because he's a life-long resident, which I know, and said any shoddy workmanship would be a risk since his business is all local referral, and he'd hear about poor work if he did it. He arrived two days later w/ a mason on his crew, got to work, and were gone in 3 hours, with a whole new chimney top left behind. It looks professional from the ground, level, no bulging mortar, etc. He didn't even request a partial payment to initiate the work, using the good old honor system for payment after the work was completed.

They did an excellent job. The price was extremely reasonable for the type of work that I had them do. They got everything done in a very timely manner. The only issue was I had to wait a little bit to get an appointment because they were busy when I called them.
