They were able to do an initial bid quickly, and although it was a mutiple more than I had expected I decided to proceed with them in order to have the piece of mind of having it professionally managed and executed.
Then things started to slip. It took weeks between the initial bid and getting to a contract. Progress was made only after constant prodding. In the end they pretty much turned the project over to the general contractor.
Their contribution ended up being little more than selling the plumbing fixtures and sourcing the cabinets. Even w/ the cabinets, the drawer faces fell off after a couple weeks of use.
They have made best effort to fix them and I'm happy with the final product. But it was not the scope of service expected.
The contracted date of completion was within two weeks, AFTER I had added a 2nd floor bathroom and a major structural problem was detected, documented and fixed. And the only reason they didn't get an A on "Price" was -- even though I chose my own budget) they let me get away with insisting "So it's a little out of my budget, it's gonna be in my house for the next 50 years!" I wouldn't have had it any other way!
I can hardly express how grateful I am to have found such a professional, artistic and trustworthy company as timothyj kitchen & bath, Inc. Thanks guys!
