Ive live at this location for 15 years and have always known we needed more insulation. I did a quick internet search and they were the top hit. I contacted them and got a quote quickly. The price was reasonable so i set a work date. They had to reschedule once but not a problem. The work was done promptly and looked to be done correctly.

Time will tell how much energy i save, but i expect significant savings.

I spent a great deal of time learning about new trends in building science and insulation. I chose to go the dense pack route due to its air impermeability, as well as great R-value for the price. I would have done foam, but it is cost prohibitive in many cases. Bill was one of the few dense pack guys that would agree to put the webbing up and install the material prior to drywall. The reason many don't, I imagine, is two-fold. First, the webbing is a b**** to put up, and you really need a skilled person to do this. It is very easy to put it up incorrectly, which will result in a terrible looking job. Secondly, it is the only way to verify (unless you use an infrared camera) that the walls are filled to capacity, and at a dense pack density. Thermo tight did a great job with this. I was a VERY picky customer, and had many questions and concerns throughout the project. Bill and his team were excellent about making sure that my questions were answered and that everything was done to my satisfaction. I will definitely use them again if given the opportunity.

Things started off well. Bill was great at getting me a quote in a timely fashion, broken down well, and the price was reasonable. His team arrived on time, were really nice people, courteous to my wife, my son, good with my pets, and just really nice and good people. Then the problems started. Lack of clarity on terminology between a roof slope and a roof deck for insulating [as a layman, I shouldn't have to know the difference - I just point]. Not meeting expectations whatsoever on cleanliness (stuff left on the floors in my basement, insulation all over the place, and expanding foam insulation dripped on all sorts of things in the basement - and that stuff stains!). To the point, that the blown insulation that was done in my attic, was found in my kitchen and basement - I'm still cleaning it up almost a month later! Then there was the quality of the work. The sealing in the basement they had to come back and fix - and still wasn't done completely - I had to go to Home Depot and buy some foam and finish the job myself. They left a floor board in my crawlspace cracked. They insulated in a way that I can no longer drywall, despite my telling them that was my plans. They missed spots with the expansion foam. The patch they put in my ceiling was terrible and I will have to have a professional plasterer/painter come by to fix it. When cleaning up the spots on my newly painted basement floor, they scratched all the paint, and I now need to go around with touchup paint. In the end, I just asked for some of my money back - and I should have asked for more but am just sick of dealing with them. Overall - very disappointed in the quality of work. Bill seemed willing to fix some of the problems, but seemed to be uninterested in fixing others. I'll have to get another company in to finish the work that he didn't finish or that wasn't done properly (in my opinion). I wouldn't use him again personally.

They came to the house within a week of my call to look at the attic and basement, then gave me a written estimate broken down by each area. The following week they arrived promptly at 7:30 and were finished about 3 PM. They made sure my carpet was protected and everything was cleaned up afterwards. There was minimal noise or disruption.

I had Thermo Tight blow insulation into the walls of a commercial office property that I own. There was no (ZERO) existing insulation in the walls prior to this. I am now saving a lot of money on my monthly WE Energies bill. The company was very prompt and professional. They were very clean and at the end of the job, you would not have known that they were there. Would highly recommend this company.
