I like their equipment. They have excellent customer service. The cleanliness of the place is an and ldquo;Aand rdquo;. They have a variety of equipment. They are open most days throughout the year. The only thing I can say that would be a negative is the only because it is so popular that it becomes very crowded at times.

I am a member of this gym mainly because there are not any other full-service gyms in my area. The pros: the place is clean, nice lockers and locker room, towel service, and really good gym amenities (pool, machines, free weights, classes).
The cons: the gym is a bit more expensive than what I am used to for these amenities (I previously lived in NYC) , especially since many classes require an upgraded membership or additional fees for a six-week class. But the real problem for me, and one which keeps me from going as often as I used to, is that the classes really aren't very good. I have had wonderful instructors at various gyms in the past and recently in other cities who taught me new techniques, helped me to develop my strength, and to learn better form. AT WAC, instructors play loud music and scream through their headsets and often talk about themselves a lot (and quot;I went mountain biking yesterday and etc etcand quot; or and quot;my friend and I spent all yesterday making this spin tape and etc etc). I am sure this is supposed to make the atmosphere fun and distract participants from any physical discomfort they may be feeling. But I find that it detracts from the experience. I wish instructors would create a calm, focused atmosphere where participants can develop technique and form. I have talked to management about this several times over the years. I find myself spinning and doing pilates at home more often, and I maintain my gym membership only because it is part of a family membership.

I cold called them after moving from Philadelphia. I loved my trainer back there and was apprehensive about their ability to provide adequate services in such a broad based club. My first interaction was with the and quot;chief of all the trainersand quot;, who matched me with someone who met my criteria for success. She is very flexible on the schedule and accomodates my schedule when it gets interrupted by last minute meetings.

I didn't feel the staff was friendly or helpful. I wasn't particularly happy with them. I might use them again.

I found that I enjoyed the group classes more than working out on the machines. The instructors are very encouraging and make the classes fun. I tried a variety of classes and have continued to go three times a week to the ones I like the most. Some of the more popular classes that they offer every day are Zumba and spin.

The WAC is clean, provides a variety of well-kept equipment and offers great classes. All staff are very cheerful and enthusiastically welcome members as they arrive to work out.

I used the facility a lot but my wife was uncomfortable with it and got discouraged; she stopped going after less than a month.

They have two pools for members and free parking. I could not have picked a better place in Wisconsin. They have magnificent equipment. The tension on all the machines are for personal regulation so you do not overdo it. There are free trainers offered. The machines are on a first come, first serve basis. The staff is nice, but they are not chatty. They are there to work. They also offer many classes and they are family friendly.

Every bit of my experience with the WAC has been outstanding. From the friendly greeting I get from Deb at 5:00 a.m. each morning to the fitness trainers to the clean facilities, everything is top notch. The classes are also great!

He provides a calming atmosphere and has a professional demeanor. He seems genuinely concerned about your physical needs. I'm not sure of the exact price.

Great athletic club community. I've been both a member and a guest at two of the Wisconsin Athletic CLub locations. Locker rooms are clean and well equipped with toiletries for your use. Staff turnover was sometime high, but all personnel was very friendly and encouraging to the members/guests. Willing to give tours and free guest passes upon request. Personal trainers and various classes available.

It is a nice facility. A little pricy, so I try to take advantage of the classes and other facilities.

My fiancee and I have been members for a few years. The WAC is by far the best facility. The staff is great, our daughter loves the child care, and the tanning and most classes are included in the gold membership which you will not find anywhere else! We give this club a thumbs up.

This company has five locations in the metro Milwaukee area. They are all clean, and staffed by very friendly people who get to know you by name. They provide towels, lockers, shaving cream, deodorant and other things that you won't have to worry about bringing along with you. I've tried all the local health clubs, and this one is the best! They truly treat you as a member, not just another customer. The staff enjoys their jobs, and you'll know it from talking to them.

I CAN'T IMAGINE A BETTER FITNESS CLUB. THE WAUWATOSA CLUB, WHICH I FREQUENT, IS ONE OF FIVE IN THE AREA. THE STAFF ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CALL YOU BY NAME. THE CLUB IS EXTREMELY CLEAN AND I SEE ALL LEVELS OF STAFF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR KEEPING IT CLEAN. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY INTRODUCING NEW CLASSES. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT PERSONAL TRAINERS AND MASSAGE THERAPISTS. THE PROXIMITY TO THE MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN AND FROEDTERT HOSPITAL MAKES IT EASIER FOR THEM TO ENGAGE IN JOINT PROGRAMMING WITH THESE INSTITUTIONS. THEY HAVE TWO WONDERFUL POOLS, TWO GYMS, AND A SPIN STUDIO. PERIODICALLY, THEY SPONSOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS, ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT PARTICIPATED IN THESE. I LOVE THE WAC! I'LL BE MOVING OUT OF TOWN SOON, SO I'LL REALLY MISS IT!
