Really a great shop!  Took time to help me select just the right shades for the lamps, styling tips, sizing guidance.  Went in expecting to buy one type, came out with something completely different and love it!  High quality shades.  In comparison to other stores, the price was higher but the quality of the items is far and above what I saw elsewhere.  Highly recommended.

I stopped first to make sure they did repairs. Women at desk were very friendly. I returned later with the lamp. It was ready the next day.thry also offered to try out new lampshades on it if I needed one.

My experience with The Lamp Shade Shoppe has been great.  I have purchased a lot of old sconces and have taken them there for rewiring.  They do an excellent job on a timely basis.  I would highly recommend them.

We brought a valuable lamp in to have the electrical switch repaired.  The owner was able to pop the apparatus back in place quickly and did not charge us.  While we were there we purchased a new shade for the lamp, and we were delighted with the expert help we received.

They were prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced.

We needed two new lamp shades. Not having the lamps with us, Jane went by our old shade shapes/sizes and asked pertinent questions to find the best replacements. The store has a lamp on which you can see the shade and she really knew how to best fit the shades - even when one required an extender. The cost was not anywhere as much as I had imagined. Plus, they have wonderful finials to finish off your new purchase. I would definitely visit this store again!

They were very efficient, easy to work with and they did a nice job.They were a bit expensive.

Excellent experience. I had been shopping for a shade to coordinate with a marble lamp. The staff member was friendly and helpful and spent about 20 minutes assisting me with my selection. I am pleased with my purchase. The switches for two lamps I had brought were also repaired for about $0.75 each.

We had expected that the entire chandelier needed to be rewired, but he called and said that the arms were fine. We ended spending a lot less than we had expected. The chandelier came back in mint condition. The staff in the store were helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

I managed to knock a lamp of an end table in a rare fit of vacuuming, resulting in a very dark living room. The lamp is half of a matching set that my husband acquired like a hundred years ago, so I knew I'd never be able to replace it. So, I brought it to the Lamp Shade Shoppe to see if it could be saved. Not only were they able to immediately diagnose the problem (a bad socket), they were able to fix it in under a week! They charged just $21 for parts and labor, which is exactly what they quoted. In addition, they were wonderfully kind and helpful while I was in their shop with my two year old. Fearing he'd break one of the beautiful lamps in the shop, I was holding him the whole time I was in there. The proprietors helped me get my lamp back out to my car, helped with my keys, and kept telling me what a cute little boy I have! Talk about making the customer feel good! It was a wonderful experience, and I'd use the Lamp Shade Shoppe again in a heartbeat.
