I was attempting to sell it myself, because my husband was not in town. She sat down with me and said she would help stage the house. She promised that she had a stock of materials to stage it, and that she would be able to get it sold. She promised that she would help us the entire way. She essentially came in and told me the things I needed to change. She spent a lot of money to stage the house. She told me it was something I had to do to sell the house. She was very dishonest. She gave me advice on different things. Thankfully, I went to an attorney about things. There was one offer that had a contingency. I told them that I would not be able to do that. She lied about the process of 48 hours to take it off. You have to put the notice in their hand. It was a terrible experience. When we finally got a buyer, the person got cold feet and tried to get out of the closing 2 weeks before.
