KC and company are the best. They have the highest standards and stay on top of innovation in styling and fashion. Whether you're young or old, cutting edge or conservative, you will leave Stella's feeling pampered and beautiful. The salon is a super cool old building with ever-changing seasonal decor and a great selection of magazines. There is no one that can do an up-do like KC, so definitely check out Stellas for special occasions. I have been going every 6 weeks for ~10 years and will never switch.

It is a really neat and interesting little building, so it just fun to even go in there. The owner is just fun, often times he sings along to the music that plays. He makes it fun to be there. He is just very entertaining. He has two old dogs that hang out on the couches. It is just relaxing and a cool place to hang out.

Stellas: Made an appointment with Casey (K.C.). The first thing he said to me was, "How long has it been since you've loved your hair cut?" Thinking . . . wow, this is going to be a good thing. We discussed what I wanted and he even repeated verbally what my requests were. I don't want anything off the length, keep my bangs and fringe long, I like as much volume as I can possibly get. He went on to cut and I mean cut my hair all the while singing. When he finished he said I wouldn't need a another hair cut for 6 - 8 weeks. It's taken me over 8 weeks just to get up enough courage to make an appointment with another salon. The top of my hair was cut to about 2 inches, making it almost impossible to use a curling iron, took the top part of my bangs and cut those into those 2 inches so the bangs that remained were half as thick as there were when I walked in. He also cut the right fringe area an inch shorter than the left and layer after layer after layer. Took at least two inches off the length. My hair had zero volume and it has been EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to style and I don't usually have a problem with that. You have to be trying to do that BAD of a job. Shame on you! Ladies, run don't walk away from this one.

My appointment at Stella's was wonderful. It's a fun and quirky environment and a huge space once you get inside. Angela listened carefully while I described the cut I wanted, the intensity and distribution of highlights I wanted. For no additional cost she mixed two highlight colors to add tonal range to my hair instead of only using one color. The result is varied and very natural-looking. The cut itself turned out just how I wanted it - and I'm finicky! The whole process took about an hour and a half and involved shampoo and hair care products that smelled fantastic and made my hair feel super soft. If I had one complaint, it would be that the language the stylists occasionally use in casual conversation is a bit coarse for my taste, but I noticed they cleaned it up when a child came into the salon and I appreciated that. I will definitely be going back and will try some other services there, like massage and pedicure. I have already booked my next hair cut.

I have been going to Stella's 4 years. She does a fantastic job on my hair. I always come out of there looking like a million bucks!

I love it. I like the expertise! They know what they're doing. Everyone! And they all work together. You get what you pay for.

I scheduled my wedding party several months in advance. Elizabeth created the schedule for my ladies and me. She was very helpful and accommodating. On the day of the wedding, the salon set up a room just for us with coffee, mugs, plates, and silverware. We brought in breakfast and enjoyed a relaxing morning. Everyone liked their hairstyles and makeup except the mother of the groom. Her stylist was the same as mine. I liked my hair, but it took a little longer than expected. I think because we were running out of time, the stylist rushed a little. Everyone else loved their looks!

THE SALON IS VERY UP-TO-DATE, AND IT'S A FUN PLACE TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE. PLUS, THE STYLES OFFERED ARE VERY UP TO DATE AS WELL. THEY ALSO OFFER EYEBROW WAXING, AND THAT SERVICE IS VERY GOOD AS WELL.
