The delivery people were the only excellent part to this experience. We had some quality problems that were ignored for many many weeks. Also had a problem with financing. We feel like Steinhafel's got our sale, and they were done. The customer service is lacking, terribly.

The salesman was excellent. There was no pressure, and he even pointed out to us that the chair and ottoman that we were about to buy together did not match. It really would have been weeks before we noticed. We purchased a mattress there previously as well. They are the only place in the area that we've found that has excellent merchandise at a reasonable price (if you go to the clearance center, where you can often find things in mint condition) and NO PUSHY SALESPEOPLE. The only problem was that on the delivery, they scraped up our door jam, but Steinhafels sent someone out to help resolve.

The salesman was very helpful. I had purchased a mattress from someone else a year ago, but it was too hard. Steinhafels said if I did not like my new one I could exchange it within a certain number of days. Made me feel good to have that option. Offered delivery the next day. I took another day when I could get a smaller time window, which they came within. Positive experience.

I spent a good hour testing out multiple beds at the Menominee Falls store. My sales lady was very patient with me. She was able to help me stay in budget and still get a very comfortable mattress.

Our saleslady was Maxine Bond and she helped us both visits to the store. These purchases were spread out over less than one month. She was not pushy, answered all questions and was very patient with us. Maxine moved to the new Menomonee Falls store, but is now selling bedroom furniture. We had such a great experience, that when we need more furniture, we'll be back. We had next day delivery for everything.

The sale was not a great experience. It was very much like buying a car, and who enjoys that? We were approached quickly (okay) and the salesman tried to zero in on what we wanted and how much we planned to spend (also okay). But when we picked a mattress set we liked, he had to go his manager to see if he could give us the lower price of the sale that had just ended. I saw another Steinhafels customer got the same malarkey. What's that all about??? There was too much of a ''buy it now or the lower price is gone'' feel to the transaction and I really really disliked the game-playing. That being said, my husband and I were tired of looking, liked the mattress and the price was fair enough so we bought it. The delivery went very smoothly although the plastic wrapper of our set had great smears of grease on it that the delivery men managed to get off without soiling the mattress or our home. Overall I will say that I wouldn't go back, mostly because I disliked the sales technique.

Delivery was delayed by one month because one of the three items was not in. I was not notified about the delay and already had old furniture removed from my house. Customer service wanted to reschedule for 4 days later. It took a number of phone calls to finally get delivery on the promised date. When they did manage to reschedule it for the time originally promised, they did not follow up to notify me of that. I spent an entire afternoon dealing with their telephone system trying to get help. The furniture and delivery turned out great, but customer service was very disappointing.

THE FURNITURE IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. THE FILE CABINET DRAWERS NEEDED AN ADJUSTMENT AND WITHIN A WEEK A SERVICE TECHNICIAN CAME AND FIXED THEM. THEY WERE REALLY GOOD AND CONCERNED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER'S SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO MOVE THE OLD STUFF WHERE WE WANTED IT AFTER DELIVERING THE NEW FURNITURE. THE GUYS WHO CAME OUT DID NOT DO THE WORK WE WERE TOLD THEY WOULD DO. THE SALES PERSON MISLED US AND WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THEM. I HAD TO THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE TO GET THE DELIVERY GUYS TO LEAVE, BECAUSE THEY WERE ARGUING WITH ME ABOUT THE WORK THEY WOULDN'T DO. I CALLED MR. STEINHAFEL, AND HE WOULD NOT RESOLVE THE SITUATION AND HUNG UP ON ME. I NEEDED THE BED SET UP, BECAUSE I CARE FOR AN 80 YEAR OLD MAN WHO IS ARTHRITIC, SO HE NEEDS THE BED. MR. STEINHAFEL SAID TO PUT THE MATTRESS ON THE FLOOR AND LET HIM SLEEP THERE UNTIL HE COULD GET SOMEONE OUT HERE A WEEK LATER. IT WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND WE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I WANTED TO RETURN THE FURNITURE AND THEY REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK, THE WORKERS STORMED OUT OF THE HOUSE AND JUST LEFT. MR. STEINHAFEL DIDNT EVEN CARE. I ALSO TRIED TO CONTACT OTHER PEOPLE WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION AND WAS HUNG UP ON MANY TIMES.

I HAD EXCELLENT SERVICE. WHOEVER GREETED ME WAS WONDERFUL! HER NAME IS SUSAN GOODE. I HAVE BEEN BUYING STUFF FROM THEM FOR YEARS. THE STORE IS ON 84TH AND LADEN. THE SALESPERSON THAT I HAD BEFORE SUSAN ACTUALLY CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE TO HELP. I DIDN'T THINK FURNITURE SALESPEOPLE DID THAT.
