Very honest and professional. Half the price of the dealership and sometimes repairs end up costing less than the estimate. I've been such a good customer (I own a VW) that Randy even gave me a VW baseball cap that he won in a meetup raffle. I refer everyone looking for auto repairs to State of the Art. Can't say enough good things about them!

We used synthetic oil. They are very honest. They won't schedule an appointment if they don't think I need one. If I do, they'll let me know.

They do a good job. Randy the owner is very helpful and has given advice over the phone that has fixed issues without me having to bring my car in as well. I would use them again.

Because my car is a twenty-fifteender, there are no notes on how to reset the computer yet. So, they figured it out. I went in. It took five minutes and it was free.

Dropped vehicle off in the morning after setting an appointment. Received a call midday after the team took a look at it, and offered several potential solutions since a full replacement of part to correct issue would cost about $1,200. Was very pleased with work provided. Left car overnight and picked up next day. As I was leaving, owner made sure to come out, shake hand and thank me for my business. It was a nice touch and a strong first impression in my return to the area.

New to Wisconsin in 2013, I took my car to this place based on a strong recommendation from a friend who had used their services in the past. I needed some major repairs done so it was important that I find someone I could trust.
Randy and his staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the auto repair business. They keep their facility clean and obviously have pride in keeping all of their customers satisfied. All of the parts they installed were top of the line, not cheap imports, and their labor costs were right in line with what I expected them to be. They completed the work within the time frame they gave me and called me when it was ready to be picked up.
The best thing of all was they gave me a 10% senior citizen discount because I am 80 years young...amazing!

Randy and his company have always done a great job for me and are HONEST - I do not mind paying a little more for quality work from someone who cares about his customers and will be straight forward with you on what is needed and what isn't. Rick called me after I brought the car in and the first thing he asked me was who was the last one to work on my car because there were some major issues.
He was able to explain the problems to me in terms I could understand and also showed me when I came in to grab a few things out of the vehicle. He also was able to fix the crankshaft, even though it was looking like a lost cause, and even gave me a little extyra off because of the trouble I had gone through at the other place to get to this point.
I ended up replacing that Civic in February with a 2010 Fusion, but I will continue to use Rick when I can for things that are not covered under my warranty, for my girlfriends jeep, and for general advice.
Great company and great people.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of working with Randy and the team at State of the Art Auto for years. We both drive Acura's and have 100% confidence in Randy's ability to properly diagnose and repair any issues that arise, which is especially important now that both of our cars are over 150k miles. Randy does a great job of keeping the repair bills down by only fixing what absolutely needs fixing. We couldn't be happier with the service we've received, and would gladly recommend State of the Art Auto to all of our friends and family! A+++

My experience was exceptional! It was my first time coming to State of the Art after I had to reschedule my first appointment. They were flexible, understanding and got me in a few day later. At my visit they took care of what we had discussed earlier on the phone. They also asked me if I had noticed a shake or rattle when driving, hitting bumps etc. I was so excited to hear them ask me that to which I replied, "Yes!" Little did they know I had addressed this same issue over the last 2 years with Felsings Auto and Burleigh Brake and Auto. I was told there was nothing wrong, nothing to fix and that that was just the way the car drove/or handled since it was a small 4-Wheel Drive SUV. So we forgot about it, have lived with it and thought for a 8 year old vehicle with low miles and not driving through any mountains this was just a poorly built car! Actually the car IS great and the problem was fixed thanks to State of the Art! We cannot believe the difference and are so thrilled that the car almost feels like new again. The Owners are Great, friendly and easy to address questions with and not have them look at me like Im nuts! The rest of their staff was pleasant and it felt like a fun and friendly work environment. Other customers coming in while I waited all seem to know or have established a repor with them which made me feel like I really made the right choice. I will only come here from now on because it gets done by knowlegable people who are great at their craft. Loved it and dont dread having car trouble in the future with the best people to take care of it. The price was excellent, fair and even lower than we were told. They were worth every penny! Thanks So Much State of the Art:)

I was told that my brakes needed replacement for $1,400 and they repaired them for $210.
Put in a new antenna and did a great job.
Randy told me of all the problems with costs prior to doing the work and he did exactly what I wanted at the right time.

Excellent - I've been bringing my 2007 Mazda 3 here for a couple years now for any issues. They are always friendly, professional, and the quality of their work is excellent. I wouldn't risk bringing my vehicle anywhere else for repairs.

Great. Very professional. Called me back with an estimate within an hour. I was able to drop off my car in the morning, walk to get breakfast close by, and picked my car up in an hour. They are very nice and professional. They also are a Collie Rescue for the Milwaukee area, so my grandson got to see a collie they were boarding with them. Would definitely recommend them.

They provided great service. They were able to get me in quickly, the two times that I have been there. They are pretty friendly folks. They are a family-owned business so it seems like they take pretty good care of their customers.

My alternator died Saturday night on the drive home to Oshkosh from Chicago. I managed to get the car safely off the road in Germantown, WI, at 11 PM, in the middle of a snow storm. My roadside assistance program from State Farm covered a tow to a nearby shop. Unfortunately, I needed to find a place to have it towed to for repairs!
I logged on to Angie's List from a nearby motel lobby, purchased a subscription for the area, and up came State of the Art. I crossed my fingers, had the tow truck drop my car off, and headed to Oshkosh in a friend's car who drove down to pick me up.
Monday morning I got a call from the lovely lady who is the voice of the shop, and we discussed what needed to be done. I was given an estimate, they did the work, and my car was ready on time and on estimate.
If you are in the Germantown area, definitely consider letting the people at State of the Art take care of your car. They did a great job for me, even though I didn't meet them until after the car was ready!
