I have been 100 percent satisfied with their service. I would recommend them. The only thing that I objected to is that he doesn't have the habit of giving people the warranty information from the packages of the products he installs.

They are wonderful. The service is wonderful. You know how much it will cost before they come out. They’re prices are reasonable. I would be so happy if every service provider treated me like that. He treated me with respect. He was prompt and the service was excellent.

The responsiveness was unbelievably. The office was great to work with, they steered me through the permit process. They were really helpful and coordinated that. Showed up when they said. The electrician stayed and did everything in one day. I was very pleased and would use them again.

Great outcome. Came the day I needed for a radon mitigation system and finished additional work I needed the same day. The office coordinated with the radon mitigation company, the city for permits and explained everything I needed to do. The electrician was on time, was prepared with everything needed and stayed to complete additional work I wanted done with no hassles or delays.

We were converting from an electric range to a gas range and need to have a standard outlet installed. Greg, the electrician, was prompt (service was scheduled for 9am and he arrived at 8:30am, which was fortuitous as the plumber who was scheduled for 8am didn't show until 9am), professional, and courteous. This was the third time we've used "Pieper" electric and we look forward to using them in the future. Great service!

The quote process took a little back and forth with the sales person. Not ideal, but we eventually got everything ironed out.

The electrician, Greg, was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. After completing the job we asked if he had a little extra time to help with a 2-pole outlet we had upgraded ourselves that wasn't working properly. He didn't have time as he needed to head to the next job, but he helped troubleshoot what he thought the problem might be as he packed up. Greg was spot on with his recommendation and we were able to fix the issue ourselves. How's that for top notch service!

This was our second time using "Pieper" electric and we look forward to using them in the future.

Why I would rate the experience as a ?C?

Everything works, but...

Estimate Several emails with questions about CAT6  didn't get replied or answered.  Estimate wasn't broken down per project.  I was initially told the CAT6 runs were $100-125 per run, but upstairs might be challenging, so I would assume that run would cost more, but I had no idea how that broke down.  I was never advised I would need a longer HDMI cable.  It became apparent the company knows little about data cables, no options, info, or advice offered to accomplish the goals.  I needed an additional CAT6 switcher and power line networking adapters.

Installation Installer admitted he didn't know much about data cables.  He seemed to want to take the easiest path for him, even if it wasn't what I asked.  He suggested running cable to the 2nd floor was very difficult, and seemed to not want to do it.  He was interrupted with a safety inspection, nice to see but it took time away from the project, he complained about it, and then later shed the safety equipment he was told to wear.

Installer didn't clean up any mess.  There may have been some confusion, as my wife needed one room set back up before kids woke from naps, but he didn't even ask about the other 2 locations that needed cleaning.

I ended up rerouting the CAT6 wires in the basement to a better location.

Follow up Only a minor amount was subtracted due to canceling the 2nd floor run, though that seemed like the biggest part of the job.  I understand that might have to do with how many physical lines were run, but I was clear with how many terminals I wanted per room, that should have been figured out during the estimate process, nor is the cost reflected on either the estimate or invoice.  Nothing was reduced for the installer not cleaning up.

I requested assistance in ?finishing the job? to fish a longer HDMI cable through the wall, as I lack the tool?s or experience.  I was told that wouldn?t be a problem, and asked my schedule.  I replied with my schedule and have not heard from the company since.  I purchased fish wire and did it myself.

Best price of all the electricians who gave me quotes for the job.  Job was completed in a day with no issues.  Only reason I gave a B for professionalism was because during the estimate or installation process, I was never advised against using dimmable CFL bulbs.  I believe I mentioned them in the estimate process, and I would assume anyone in the industry with experience would have educated me on the fact that dimmable CFLs just don't work very well

I had a new garage constructed and the builder contracted Spring City.  I'm not positive on the total amount they were being paid.  The electrician advised would arrive sometime after 7am.  I believe it was close to 8am.  Explained where outlets were to go and lights.  Asked them to install one extra outlet more than what the builder quoted.  That was an additional $75.  Also asked to wire a switch that already existed inside my house to the light on the front of the garage.  Since that required an extra wire, that added $225 to the job for the wire.   Asked that the exterior lights all be mounted at the same height.  I asked for 2 on the side of the garage and 2 on front.  The 2 on the side of the garage got mounted a few inches higher.  Unfortunately, I had to leave and was not there when he actually placed it.  The electrician did not finish the work that day.  Advised he would call back next week to schedule a time to finish.  (Work started on a Friday)  He called back the following Wednesday to schedule for Friday afternoon.   The electrician was a no show.  Calls me at 6pm to apologize and asks to schedule a day for the following week.  Tells me that either Wednesday or Thursday is open for him.  So, I've been waiting for a week for him to finish and now being told to wait a few more days????  I hung up on him when he starts giving excuses again advising that this afternoon was open in his calendar...but some stuff popped up??   Really???  So here I am...with a garage with no electricity and ruined my day of sitting waiting for this person.
Hopefully they actually show up next week Wednesday to finish the job.  This will look bad for the builder as well when I fill out their review....as they contracted them
Response from Spring City Electric div. of Pieper Electric
"The electrician who was working on this job proved unreliable and is no longer working with the company. He did not give a good representation of the standard of work our company typically performs. A crew was sent out to complete the work at the next scheduled appointment."

The initial phone call, the estimate and the work all went very well.  One electrician did all the work on the installation day, and he was punctual, professional, thorough and answered all my questions and explained the steps he would take and how everything was to be set up.  He was a very competent and very neat electrician.

I realize it doesn't always work out this way, but they were able to come same day only an hour or two after I called. Electrician was personable and friendly, worked very efficiently and did a great job. Cleaned up well. Job was done just as I asked, and he was able to find and fix several existing problems, one that I had known about, one I didn't.
And it wasn't even too expensive. I thought the price was reasonable given the materials he used (he supplied outlets, breaker etc.) and the amount of time he was here.
EXTREMELY happy with this company. I realize they might not always be able to schedule same day but this experience was as good as it gets for the building trades.
I will be having more work to do as we redecorate the house room by room and I will ABSOLUTELY call this company again.
I had never heard of this company before, just found them on Angie's List this morning and was encouraged by their ratings & comments.

Power went out in half of my house during a snow/ice storm. I called at about 6 PM and an electrician was dispatched and repaired the problem (which was outside) within 2 hours. Excellent responsiveness and service.

The experience was excellent overall.  I went onto their website to ask for an estimate, and within five minutes, an employee from Pieper called me to set up a time. Within two days, an electrician showed to provide an estimate. They were also able to meet my time schedule as far as when they were able to get the job done. Their work passed inspection first time through with a local building inspector, and they really did a good job overall!
