We've had some serious problems with the roof. When they came out to do the roof they were punctual, but when we started having problems I would call them and they wouldn't come. I had to call several times to have them to come out to fix their roof. Everytime they come out to fix the roof they charge us. They didn't give us any kind of discounted rate.

There were five roofers for two days and the job went very smoothly. The weather was good, no breaks were taken and the workers were conscientious and cleaned up after the work was done. They did a good job of restoring the flashing around the chimney.

The roofers were fast and efficient, our roof look greats and there are no longer leaks. It only took a total of two days with about five guys working at a time. After the job was finished, they thoroughly cleaned up the ground around the house; which was great since it was an incredibly dirty job! The representatives for South Side were easy to deal with. Our only complaint is that it's been two months now since the roof was finished, and our gutters are still not on. They said the company they contract with is overbooked and way behind. It's no reflection on the roofing company except that they may need to work with someone else on the gutters.

I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WHEN THE ROOF WAS COMPLETED INITIALLY, BUT NOT SINCE THEN, WHEN I HAVE HAD QUESTIONS OR NEEDED SOMEONE TO VISIT.

"A company representative came out to her home in early September in response to her call. Our expertise is roofing not animal wildlife control. We could not determine why the animals were attempting to nest under the shingles. When she gets her animal problem under control we would be happy to make any necessary roof repairs at the customer's expense."

THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED HIGHLY BY A FRIEND WHO HAD A SIMILAR ROOFING JOB DONE. THE JOB WAS QUITE A BIT CHEAPER THAN OTHER BIDS, SO I QUESTIONED RANDLE CAREFULLY ABOUT THE ITEMS ON THE CONTRACT IN COMPARISON TO WHAT OTHER ROOFERS HAD SUBMITTED, AND HIS ANSWERS SEEMED SATISFACTORY. THE ROOFING TEAM WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND POLITE. THEY CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY AFTER EVERY DAY'S WORK, VERY IMPORTANT, SINCE A THREE LAYER TEAROFF CAN BE A MESSY JOB. THE WORK SEEMS GOOD. I HAD THEM RETURN TO BEND DOWN AND CAULK SOME OLDER FLASHING, WHICH THEY DID IMMEDIATELY. I MAY HAVE TO FLASH OR SOMEHOW FINISH SOME EDGES WHERE THE ROOFING MEETS DORMER SIDING, BUT OTHER ROOFERS WERE NOT OFFERING SOLUTIONS TO THIS PROBLEM EITHER (RANDLE POINTED OUT THAT THERE'S EXISTING FLASHING UNDERNEATH THE SIDING EXTENDING UNDER THE SHINGLES). THE CURVED FLASHING AROUND THE CHIMNEY LOOKS ROUGH BUT SERVICEABLE. ALL IN ALL, I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THE JOB AND IT WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY.

THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD B, THOUGH THEY TRIED SELLING ME A NEW ROOF. I DID NOT COST COMPARE.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL,CAME WHEN THEY SAID WOULD. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE TO QUESTIONS WE ASKED. THEY WORKED QUIETLY AND WERE METICULOUS ABOUT CLEAN UP. THEY WERE ALSO THE MOST COMPETITIVE PRICE WISE. WE OBSERVED THEIR WORK PREVIOUSLY BEFORE HIRING AND HAD ALSO TALKED TO PEOPLE THAT HAD USED THEM BEFORE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO INSTALL SEEMLESS GUTTERS BUT THEY DIDN'T. I HAVE GUTTERS WITH A SEAM. THIS HAS CAUSED LEAKING INTO THE HOUSE. WHEN I CALLED THEM REGARDING THIS, THEY HAVE SAID THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME IN AND TAKE A LOOK TODAY, BUT NO ONE HAS COME.

"In response to your letter of 4/8/04, about this member's complaint on the seam in his gutter at the time of installation, the gutter installer informed the principals that due to poor access on the east side of the property, the gutter had to be in stalled in two pieces, which this member was in agreement with. He was also informed by Mr. Wayne Martell, the company foreman, that due to the poor condition of the east masonry wall that he would still get water into the building, even with the installation of the gutter system.
