Elizabeth did a GREAT job! The cats where very well adjusted after a 4 day absence from us; she left us detailed notes for every day, and we came home to good looking plants, especially in the heat we had that week. She has sat for us before and has always done a wonderful job! I highly recommend her services!!

She made sure the cats were okay, fed them, gave them fresh water, and cleaned their litter boxes. She also fed the fish each day. In addition, she brought in the mail, checked the plants to assure they didn't need water, and just generally made sure everything seemed okay. She left a hand-written diary for us, listing the condition of the house, animals and plants during each of her visits, and exactly what she did during that particular visit.(i.e., cleaned up a hairball in the dining room).

I have used South Shore In Home Pet Care several times.  I also used them in 2013 for the same trip that I took, however, I only had two cats to care for due to the one infirm cat passing away.  Again Gail toolkcare of the cats.  They we fed and watered and Gail was there companion for about a week and a half.
Again Gail brought wrote a dairy of events twice a day for every day that she was at my house taking very good care of my cats.  Gail took in my mial and newspapers, watered my plants, monitored the weather to determine whether to turn the air on or open the windows when appropriate.
I felt completely at ease while on vacation knowing that Gail was there watching and taking care of my cats.
I  would reccommend South Shore In Home Pet Care to anyone who needs specialized care for your pets or and I say specialized care because that is what it should be when you are away from your best friends.  I trust South Shore In Home Pet Care above any other pet care providers that I looked into.

We have used them several times and because they text or call us we were able in the past to have someone save our fish when the water drained for some reason. I consider them essential to our pets happiness and health, and our equanimity while we are on vacation knowing that responsible people are going to be caring for our pets and our house. 

Elizabeth & Russell were fantastic! They text me with updates about how my dog was doing while we were away and kept all the plants watered. They even left the mail neatly piled on the table. I highly recommend them for in home pet care while you are on vacation.

As a pet sitter, she leaves a note every time she comes and stays for about 30 minutes. She started playing games and hides toys from my pets. She is nice, friendly, funny and she loves animals. She can give medication if necessary. Her price is extremely reasonable as well. She is also reliable.

Have been using South Shore In Home Pet Care for over a year. Except for one scheduling anomaly they have been very reliable and do quality work.  They provide a daily log of work performed and of the cats' behavior  (unless they are hiding). Their prices are reasonable and are of good value.

We had asked her to check on our 2 kitties while we were gone, feed them, refresh water containers, empty litter boxes, and generally check to be sure they were alright.  One is 18 years old and may not be with us much longer and the other is 12 and allergic to everything so sometimes is arthritic and uncomfortable - needing attention.  Each visit was at least a 1/2 hour and documented with a hand-written note outlining what she did, condition of the house on arrival and exit, and the activities she played with the kitties.  (She even hid treats while here for them to hunt out.  We never thought of that and it seems to be a favorite game for them now.)  She also handled a problem with our garage door not wanting to stay closed due to the extremely cold weather by trying to meticulously clear blown snow at the bottom of the door, and other innovative measures, before resorting to giving us a call to see if we had any ideas.  We both then talked to the garage door repair person we use and got it resolved.  But the point is she went above and beyond to try to remedy that situation.  When we got home, the kitties actually were glad to see us and did not seem to go through with the usual day or 2 of punishment they would provide for us for leaving them.  Her service was worth every penny especially since the kitties were seen every day and not just every other day or so.  We already have scheduled future services with her.  Highly recommend her services.

Everything went as planned.  They came three times (what I asked them to do) to let my dog out to go to the bathroom, spend some time with him and make sure he was OK.  They left me a note describing each visit.  I keep the dog in a crate when I go away.  I appreciate that they spent time with him to relax him.
This was my fist experience with this company and they gave me peaco of mind that my dog would be taken care of.
Their rates were very reasonable.  There was a $2.00 surcharge per visit because it was Christmas. Their price was $16.00 per visit, bumped up to $18.00 per visit because it was a holiday. It is not often that I say I was happy to pay them. They are reliable and I will continue to call them for future pet sittings!

Cat and house were perfect upon our return. Cat seemed relaxed and content. Gail also left a daily report of her visits and cats behavior and eating habits.

From the notes left, things went well.  She did all I expected.  Missed some accidents on the carpet.

This pet service is excellent!  A thorough "journal" of the care that was given to my pets is written by the pet sitter each time she sees my pets.  My directions are followed to the letter.  I feel comfortable and safe allowing them into my home when I am away.  I have used this service for the occasional 1x day visit, and for multiple visits when I have been gone for several days.  I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.  Excellent!!!  When we last used the service in December right before Christmas, my pets were given a Christmas card and treats for a gift!

Eli is very personable and responsible.  She is also very flexible with scheduling.

I spend about $18 a visit and that is for caring for my cat.  The service includes a 20 minute visit, cleaning out the litter box, and feeding.  I liked the setting of the initial service up, they were very professional.  They were very willing to go out of their way to come to me at work to get my house keys because I kept running out of time to get another key.  They also like what they are doing.  I would use them again.
