Our older model Slvania VCR definitely needed cleaning (poor recorded picture quality), and it's the only VCR that will work with our older television set. I dropped the machine off just before Thanksgiving, paying a $45 service fee, and picked it up a week later. It seems to work fine now.

OUR CD PLAYER WAS NOT WORKING SO I TOOK IT IN TO SOUND STAGE. THEY REQUIRED A $35.00 DEPOSIT WHICH WOULD BE APPLIED TO REPAIR COST. WITHIN A FEW DAYS THEY HAD IT READY FOR PICKUP. THEY CLEANED IT AND RE-ALIGNED THE TRAY. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT WAS WRONG AND HOW OFTEN THIS MIGHT HAPPEN. A WHILE AGO, I HAD A HIGH END SONY VCR THAT WASN'T WORKING. ANOTHER REPAIR STORE TOLD ME THE VCR WAS NOT REPAIRABLE BUT WOULD GIVE ME $50 OFF FOR TRADE ON A NEW ONE. I LATER TOOK IT IN TO SOUND STAGE AND THEY REPAIRED IT FOR LESS THAN $100.00. I AM STILL USING THE VCR AND IT WORKS GREAT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SOUND STAGE FOR THEIR REPAIR SERVICE.
