Ruby Isle does good work at a fair price. They don't cut corners and do the work right the first time.

When this first started in 2009 the owner, John, suggested cleaning the throttle body - Chevy's recommended solution - explaining that the carbon build up can cause this type of problem. The other options offered were to replace the O2 sensors as they seemed to be fighting each other. John left the decision up to me but said why replace parts that may not need it? That is the first time any repair facility suggested starting small and working up. The cleaning gave me 12 months without problems.Late in 2010 I began having RMP fluctuations again, this time the diagnostics determined one O2 sensor had failed. It was replaced. The problem came back again early this year and John & his staff did a thorough diagnostic on my car. The found other things that could have contributed to the problem & gave me options for repair/replace. it took a few service appointments and some patience on both our parts as each appointment resolved another malfunctioning part/system. In June 2012 my truck started dropping RPM's again and I took it right back to Ruby Isle. John had his guys run diagnostics on it and it showed the O2 sensor he put in over a year ago failed. I full well expected a bill to replace the part. John covered the sensor under warranty!There is no way a Chevy dealership would have done that. I will be taking my truck back to Ruby Isle for any maintenance or repair needs & recommending them every time I can!
