Title Companies
We used this company to close on our recent refinance. The only problem was that we were supposed to bring a check for about $2000 for the escrow, which no one told us to bring. We had to then scramble a bit to make this happen. The title company blamed the mortgage broker, who in turn blamed the title company, for not alerting us that this would be needed. I'm not sure who was ultimately at fault. In any case, the refinancing went through.
