It took three tries for me to actually contact someone - the extension for property owners just rang a few times and disconnected. Once I tried a different, random extension, I got a call back very quickly, and was able to meet with a property manager shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, that was the only part of my RPM experience that was good. For three weeks after signing the contract, I was hounding them to contact the tenants, perform repair work we had agreed to, and get the tenants into their system, to start making rent payments. Over and over again, my RPM contact kept making excuses, usually that their computer system was having problems. It's my opinion that, if you're so reliant on your computer system that you can't perform your basic business functions without it, you can't afford to leave it broken for a month at a time (the computer system was apparently to blame for the dropped calls I initially experienced, too). I wish I had trusted my gut initially, and not tried to follow up after those first two calls. After finally going to the property, they informed me that they were canceling the contract and wouldn't manage my property, for reasons that make no sense to me. However, I'm delighted to be released from any obligation to do business with them, so I'm not going to question it.

1. Communication is so horrible it is laughable. Emails go unanswered, voicemail messages left with no response, and even if you get a hold of someone, there is no follow-up communication or status. 2. Follow thru does not happen! I have requested simple things like a copy of an inspection report from a tenant leaving (its been over 4 months and still nothing). I have made requests and been promised by the owner to have market data on the property (over 6 months nothing). 3. Quality of renters... horrible!!! I have had more turnover of renters breaking leases than anything. I have yet to have a renter stay full lease in the property. This was not an issue before. 4. Maintenance staff - IS NOT LOCAL! The Maintenance person is in Indianapolis, and my property is in Milwaukee... I have tried several times to have my issues addressed, and every time I am left with the same thing - nothing! It is clear this is only a property management company that only cares about their monthly 10% and not about the customer (on either side). I have had to deal with renters directly and they complain to me about the same thing on communication issues with this company. My only recommendation is to look elsewhere.
Description of Work: They provided Property Management services for 1 property south of the Milwaukee metro area since early 2012. Early on service was great, but has become deplorable over the last year.

Real Property management provided professional service at a fair prices, everything from rent collections, to maintenance repairs, to rental screening. I will continue to work with them to manage my rental properties.
Description of Work: Real property Management provided me with excellent management services for my new duplex. They not only found, but also screened my potential tenents with credit, criminal, and federal background checks. They then followed up and helped in the lease signing process. Real Property Management is a great company to work with and I recommend them to anyone looking for a great property manager.
