I've been taking my car here for over 10 years. They have always provided a good diagnosis without adding services I don't need. Their prices have always been fair.

My congruence went very well. The pricing is very reasonable and I would recommend this company to others.

They did a fine job as they always do for me. I needed to replace the condenser unit and associated other parts and coolant. They always explain the work needed and/or alternatives and never do or suggest unneeded work. I have been using Ray's for over 25 years.

It went well as always, all we needed was a screw so they replaced that and only charged us $50 for time spent, parts and labor. They could've easily told us that we needed a whole new system and charged us a big chunk of money but they are honest hardworking guys and have always been good to me!

They do have good customer service. I always feel like they listen to what your needs are and take care of you. I think, particularly for females, they explain things very well.

During an earlier visit to the shop a mechanic noticed that the water pump was leaking. I waited several weeks after that to bring the car back, which gave me a chance to observe how much water was leaking out. Origionally just the water pump was to be replaced, but when the mechanic found the coolant pipe to be badly rusted he phoned me to get permission to replace that as well. The work was done promptly and I was shown the old parts when I returned to pick up the car.

I had a rattling noise and thought my breaks were squeaking. I called Ray's, they got me in that week. I was able to drop my car off the night before which was convenient and felt safe. I was called at work and told that they put a little tweak on the breaks, cleaned them up a bit and tightened up a loose clamp on the exhaust. He told me it was not time to replace anything yet and only charged me for a little labor. It was totally fine after that and made me feel good that nothing was wrong. He also checked my tires and filled the windshield fluid! I was all set to go.

He repaired my child's car. We have used them for 5 or 6 cars in the past few years. They replaced a gas filter, as well as some major things for us. They are always reasonable. They don't tell you something needs to be fixed if it doesn't. They will tell you that they don't think you should waste your money on it. I will continue to use them in the future.

My dashboard "check engine" light went on, and I was able to read the trouble code from the computer that I needed a new oxygen (O2) sensor. (The car is a 1995.) This was a rare case where I decided to do the work myself. The O2 sensor was frozen, and so I unfortunately broke the oxygen sensor off in the exhaust manifold. I then tried to use "easy outs" screw extractors, and was able to apply a large (200 ft.-lb) torque to the broken sensor, but it would not move. I took the car to Ray's, and they tried the same approach and had the same experience. They then removed the manifold from the car (which is itself a bit difficult in this car that is that old) to get access to it on the bench. In this position, they were able to apply sufficient heat and torque to free the sensor.

I have a 1987 Grand Marquis that is in perfect condition. Other places were going to charge me far higher prices and so I feel like they kept me from being ripped off here. They are reasonably priced and very competent. They give good advice on the timeline of when to do the repairs, too.

They are excellent and honest. I take my car there for just about everything. They are very fair as well.
