TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Poor customer service. Poor financial invoicing. Terrible attitude. Adam Poblocki does not return phone calls. Poor attitude by President. Would never do business with this company - NEVER!

I was referred to Poblocki Paving by our contractor. Adam Poblocki was my point of contact. He came out and looked at our job, a larger residential driveway. I told Adam we had had two bids already, both suggesting a combination of new asphalt areas along with areas where they'd use the existing drive as a base and do a new asphalt overlay. But I told Poblocki I wanted the driveway to be perfect and to do it as if it were his own- even if that meant completely new. He recommended a plan of attack that he said would be great and gave a bid of $21,844. That was higher than the other two bids but I had confidence in Adam Poblocki's assessment and they also came highly recommended by our contractor. Poblocki did the work in late June of 2017. It all looked great at first, but within 30 days the problems began. Many serious cracks developed throughout the driveway. I contacted Adam immediately and asked him to please come take a look. Never did. Soon, Adam said "my Dad said you had heavy construction equipment on the driveway and that's why it cracked" which was absurd. For one, we didn't. But this opinion was also being offered by somebody who had never even looked at the driveway or been to our home! During repeated emails, calls, and text messages all I asked was for Adam to come LOOK at the driveway so we could come up with a fix. I even offered, when he blamed it on the base he previously said was great, that I would work with him and help pay for the fix just to get it done because my new driveway already looked like it was 10 years old. But to date, over a year later, not one person from Poblocki Paving has even responded to my requests to just come see the problems let alone offered to help resolve them. On a $21,884.00 job mind you. So, if they won't take care of poor work on a $21k job what does this say about their company? Especially when my contact has his name on the door? Witty billboards on I-94 are cute but the true test of a company is the quality of their work and how they take care of problems when they arise. There is no question that Poblocki Paving fails miserably in this department. So, when shopping for a reliable paving company I'd suggest keeping all of this in mind. And, look at the photos of the "quality" driveway that Poblocki provided me mere months after it was installed. Sincerely, Colin C.

I have a concern that they may have put on too much crack filler and it will get scraped off by my snow plower.

Excellent. Poblocki installed our driveway 20 years ago and it remains great. This summer, we wanted the lines painted to make a half basketball court. They did a great job at a great price. I was amazed at how nicely they did it. They measured everything out to match official court dimensions.

It went just fine and we were happy with the work.

It went very well, I was very pleased. One of the reasons I had it done was because I had a drainage problem, it accumulated in front of my stoop. They came out to the house and I told them about it and they were very knowledgeable. They made suggestions as to how I could solve the problem. They suggested I move some trees, we changed the configuration of the drive way a little. It solved my drainage problem.

We had a 300+ driveway sealed.  Sloppy job.  They bragged it only took them 20 minutes.  They left "sludge" piles on driveway, did not fill small holes and left excess sealant along the edges of driveway.  We asked them to come out and 'clean up.'  They said they would but did not show up.  We cleaned up the sludge mess ourselves.  Two years ago this company did a good job for $140 less cost.  Definitely a deterioration in their service.  IN ADDITION, within 30 days of job being done, we tried asking for a $50 discount and explained to the accounting gal the sloppy job we received, and Adam Poblocki got on the phone and cussed out  my husband, including using both the *F* and "MF" words.  Mr. Poblocki stated he didn't need business from "people like you."  I was a witness to this conversation and was definitely shocked.  I can honestly say my husband did NOTHING to provoke this type of behavior.  This is THE  MOST unprofessional company we have ever dealt with.

Asked for an estimate. It was 4 days before they even set up an
appointment for the estimate. A young man came out, promised he would
get us the estimate by the next day. After waiting for over a week, I
called the company. They told me that this was just a kid "helping out"
the regular guy (John?). Again, no contact from the "regular guy."
Again, at least another week passed.  Finally got an e-mail with the
estimate... which was MUCH higher than estimates we received from other
companies. NO WAY NO HOW AM I DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

They did an excellant job. This is the 2nd time we have used them. Everyone was very pleased with their work. Their staff was very professional and worked well. Their instructions are very clear and anyone that we dealt with at their office was very professional and very informative and we would certainly use them again.

Our existing driveway was old and crumbling.  Poblocki Paving gave us a very reasonable bid for a new circle driveway.  Two days later and the job was complete.  They were very efficient, and did a remarkable job overall.

Very impressed with thoroughness of crew and attention to detail of doing the job even though it was late in the day.

The material has lasted longer. They did a great job, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

We were happy with the work they did. They were very good.

They did a very nice job for us. They were fine and they did exactly what they were supposed to do on time. They got it done. They do a lot of paving in our area for people who do not have driveways. There was no problem at all. Their price was medium. Their responsiveness was excellent. Their punctuality was unbelievable. I would rate them very highly on their professionalism. If need be, then I would use their services again.

They were excellent. They were very professional, they went right to work, and were efficient. They send 3 crews - one to clean the cracks and everything, and one to fill the cracks, and one seal the driveway. Their workers are also very pleasant.

This has been a horrible experience. Poblocki Paving has still not correct the problems that they created when they repaved my driveway. The water is still pitched to run into my garage. They have stopped out several times to attemt to fix the problem with cheap patches however, 2 years later water still flows into the garage.

Their bid of $1,500 was the highest, but based on what they could see where the asphalt had broken down, their proposed solution made the most sense to me. When they had the area dug out and found that the whole row of concrete block was missing I could have the block put in at an additional cost of $1,000 or fix it the way it had been. I chose to have them do the job the way it should have been done in the first place. Within a week after I accepted their bid, and they started and completed the work on the same day. They were very professional and left the area clean and neat. I would certainly highly recommend them.

The job was done very quickly after I met with the sales person. The patio looks great, but they made a complete mess of the yard. A Bobcat was used to do the excavation, which created huge trenches in the small hill they had to go up to get into the backyard. In addition, there was gravel left strewn all over the place. It will take a lot of work this spring to get my lawn back to where it was.

I HAVE DONE MANY PAVING PROJECTS BOTH RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL, AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. POBLOCKI NEGLIGENTLY PITCHED A GOOD PORTION OF THE DRIVEWAY TO FLOW DIRECTLY TOWARDS THE GARAGE CAUSING WATER TO GET INTO THE GARAGE. THEY HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM, AND ONLY STARTED TO RESPOND AFTER I STARTED WRITING LETTERS AND FAXING THEM ( THEY ARE NON RESPONSIVE TO PHONE CALLS!) POBLOCKI, HAS NOW BEEN OVER TO FIX THE PROBLEM 3 TIMES WITHOUT SUCCESS. I NOW HAVE PATCHES ALL OVER. YES, I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE POOR QUALITY THAT CREATED THE PROBLEM, BUT THEIR POOR RESPONSE TO FIX THE ISSUES IS WHAT HAS REALLY BOTHERED ME. IF YOU USE THEM, AND RUN INTO A PROBLEM DON'T EVEN BOTHER CALLING THEM TO FIX IT. JUST START WRITING LETTERS AND FAXING THEM AS THAT SEEMS TO CATCH THEIR ATTENTION.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. ADAM POBLOCKI CAME DOWN TO INSPECT WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE WELL BEFORE THE JOB WAS STARTED; TO TALK WITH ME AND TAKE NECESSARY MEASUREMENTS. UPON MY ACCEPTANCE OF THEIR OFFER; POBLOCKI SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AT MY CONVENIENCE FOR HIS CREW TO DO THE JOB. THE DAY THE JOB WAS TO BE DONE POBLOCKI'S CREW CAME DOWN EARLY IN THE MORNING (8 A.M.)AND JACK-HAMMERED THE OLD SECTION OF WALK AND CARTED IT AWAY. THE CREW WAS FAST, EFFICIENT AND EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. THEY EVEN MADE SURE I SAW THE FORMS LAYED AND GAVE ME THE OPTION OF CHANGING ANYTHING BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY POURED CONCRETE. AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE TO MY SATISFACTION I EVEN TRIED TO OFFER THE REMAINING CREW A FEW BUCKS EACH AS A TIP. THEY THANKED ME AND SAID THEY DIDN'T ACCEPT TIPS ''THEY'RE PROFESSIONALS''. IN MY OPINION THEY CERTAINLY WERE. AND I'D RECOMMEND POBLOCKI PAVING TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

WORK WAS COMPLETED WITHIN A WEEK OF SIGNING PROPOSAL. VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH, HOWEVER, THERE APPEARS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH HUGE POOLING OF WATER ON A PORTION OF THE DRIVEWAY AFTER RAIN, AND WE ARE CURRENTLY WAITING FOR SOMEONE FROM POBLOCKI TO COME OUT AND ADDRESS THE PROBLEM.
