Peter Everett Painting

It went very well. This is the second time we've used Peter Everett Painting, working with Bob Gross. We had a custom stain and wanted a waterproof finish. Bob had no trouble working with the materials we selected. The work was first rate. After the replacement windows were installed, Bob came out to fill the nail holes on the wood trim from the installation.

Bob was very friendly and professional. He was helpful and attentive.

The interior of the house looked great when he was done.

Needed 3 doors stained to match knotty pine walls in a breezeway built in 1954. The doors turned out beautiful. Peter Everett knows staining technique and what products should be used. I would definitely use their services again.

The estimate was accurate because he measured the walls and celine. He did a great job on patching and was very personable.

A few minor hiccups, but Bob was on top of everything.

Not Good. Quoted the job in February. Said job would take 2 to 3 weeks. Started in April. Finished mid August. I had to call repeatedly to ask when the work would be finished. He didn't show up for weeks at a time. The work was only completed when I got very angry.

The painting started later than anticipated, but once Peter started on the job, it went quickly. He used one sub during the repair and painting. After the painting was completed, I noticed a couple of areas that were missed. Peter offered to come back and paint the areas. All work was completed to my satisfaction.

Bob Gross was very friendly and professional. We set up the start date and he started as promised. Cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day's work. He needed to make some adjustments to his start time after the first day, but he stayed in touch with us by phone to let us know when he had a change in plans. He is a meticulous painter and sought input from us as to whether we were satisfied with the work he was doing along the way. He worked alone on our job and used good equipment and first quality paint.

He was very friendly and personable throughout the entire process. He was dealing with some personal things at the time so the times/days he was coming had gotten pushed back a bit, but he did call to confirm before hand. When he arrived it didn't take too long. Overall, the walls were covered, but I did have to go back and touch-up some edges along the trim and fill some holes that were not covered (we have old plaster walls that are rough). I did purchase the paint myself and he did say it was more runny than he is use to using. I typically like to do my painting myself, but do not having the proper equipment to deal with the stairwell which is why I called him. I was overall not happy I had work to still do once he was finished and had to touch-up his work. I know I could have called and asked him to come back and he would have happily done so, but I was ready to move on.

I have to say that from the start to finish, Bob did an outstanding work on this job. We got estimates from 2 other companies on Angie's List, and Bob's was the most reasonable. He was very pleasant to work with, did a great job matching our window trim with our new windows, was thorough and helped to transform our drab second floor into a bright beautiful space. Bob communicated wonderfully with us about the job, updating us on the status of the project, etc. We will definitely use Bob for future jobs. He is currently staining the trim on some new wood windows we purchased for our first floor. We will post a comment once that job is complete. Again, we will be using Bob for future jobs.

This is the second job they've done for us. Bob is the owner. He is very professional and thorough with his estimates. I feel safe having him in my house, and he's great with my kids. He has done a great job. Having him here for the second job was like having an old friend come back!

Robert Growth was the man that came out to do the work. I thought that he was very conscientious and caring. I had to leave a key for him to come in on his own because I had to work and he was a very responsible person. I would hire them again for future work. The approximate cost listed breaks down to $331 to remove the wallpaper and then $71 to do the painting.

We liked everything about him. He did a good job. I have question.

Bob was prompt in quoting and starting the job as agreed. He was polite, easy to work with, and in general delightful to have in my home. I had no issues leaving him alone in my home. He works alone so it took a little longer than having a crew. If you can work with his schedule understanding he works what hours he can and does not have a standard start and stop time, then I would recommend him as he does a great job.

Bob was very professional and worked long hours to compensate for a sick employee. He was very pleasant to work with and extremely conscientious, giving us plenty of time to look over the work to make sure it was to our satisfaction and it was! He even went above and beyond by climbing up into our skylight to get some plastic off the trim that was left by a previous painter. Would gladly use him again and highly recommend him to all!

Bob and his partner did excellent work. He was a little hard to get in touch with at the beginning, but he was always on time and on the one instance he was late, he called to let me know. I think he went out of his way to install the light fixtures and repair the holes we put in the walls due to the gates and he is very reasonably priced. In addition, he came back to re-do a small part of the wall he didn't think looked good enough. I would highly recommend him.

Gave good price, very prompt. Called him up and he came right out.

The quality of his work was excellent. When we finally got the time set up they were punctual. He called and explained if he was late. We had a misunderstanding about when I was going to be out of town.

Bob was easy to work with and very flexible. His suggestions were also helpful. This is a small company; he and a partner did all of the work. They were excellent. I was especially impressed with their attention to detail. They even hand-washed all of the light switch and electrical outlet covers and offered to come back the next day and reinstall them. Everything was left neater than when they arrived. I would definitely use these guys again.

Great, professional job and very pleasant to work with. Provided helpful hints for the future.

BOB AND HIS CREW ARE POLITE AND HARD-WORKING. THEY WERE PROMPT EACH DAY AND THERE WERE NO SURPRISES WHILE THEY WERE ON THE JOB. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO THREE OF MY FRIENDS. I PLAN ON USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND WERE RELIABLE IN SHOWING UP WHEN PROMISED. CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED. WOULD USE AGAIN.

BOB DID A GREAT JOB AND WAS VERY COMMUNICATIVE IN THE SCHEDULING PROCESS. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND LEAVES THE WORK AREAS CLEAN.
