Jose is great mechanic & very professional. His wife Zular is very friendly & goes out of her way to make customers feel welcome.

Jose is always priced well. He never tries to upsell me on the "flushes." If you want an even better price, try sweet talking his wife Zular. She once charged me $75 for a new tire installed. Once, I had Jose weld a muffler back on instead of replacing it because I as broke. I think he charged me a hundred bucks or something ridiculously low.

Jose Oguis is a mechanic's mechanic. He does what's necessary to do the job but doesn't upsell or overcharge.  His prices are very reasonable.  He doesn't advertise because word of mouth brings in plenty of business.  Call  first!  Since the shop is busy he can't always get to you right away, but he tells you up front when he'll check the car. This generally isn't a "while you wait" kind of place; make your own arrangements for picking up & dropping off your car.  

Earlier this year I had a repair done at Corky's in Cedarburg--I asked Jose what the repair would cost at his shop--Jose quoted 60% less on that repair.  What I give up in convenience pays for itself with peace of mind.  For this repair, my car was towed to the shop--the tow truck driver's face lit up when I told him where my car was going, he said, "Oh, he's a good mechanic!"

Jose does a great job. He is VERY honest & VERY reasonable. I had been looking for a great mechanic to work on my Honda & Toyota for previous 2 years. I found him in Jose at Oguis. I have been going to him for last 14 months. I have 2 old cars with lots of mileage. He keeps them humming along.

They were very reasonably priced. The cost was for installation only, we bought the transmission somewhere else.
