Within five minutes of being at my home the owner use the bathroom. After they left, I spent an hour cleaning my bathroom as he left quite the mess. He also broke my childproof toilet lock, and did not offer any reimbursement for it. The work seem like it was done properly at the time but within a week there was a yellow ring around the repair I would not have even fixed the small rip. If I knew it would look worse. This is a $5000 couch that has a major flaw now. I tried reaching out to the owner and no resolution was provided even though they say that there’s a six-month warranty on the work. DO NOT HIRE!!

I called New Life for an estimate and Dennis came that afternoon. He gave me an estimate and said he would be able to do the furniture the next day in my home. He was punctual, efficient, and the work was superb. Each piece was a different color of leather. Dennis mixed and matched the colors on site. The furniture looks like new. He did all the work in the living room, on a tarp, cleaned up thoroughly when he was finished. It took about four hours to complete the restorations. I would definitely recommend Dennis to anyone looking to repair or refurbish their leather furniture.

The work went great. They did a good job.

Dennis was scheduled to do the work one week earlier on an extremely hot day. Unfortunately, my daughter had locked me out of the house without my cell phone. I spent four hours sitting on my backyard deck waiting for my husband to return from work. Dennis spent half an hour on my front porch waiting for me to answer my door. I called him that evening to explain what had happened, and we set up another appointment. He was very gracious. The work took about 45 minutes. He did an excellent job; the repairs are invisible.

Denny was prompt and courteous. Considering the method of his work (airbrushing dye colors) there was no mess and very little solvent smell when he was finished. He did an excellent job of covering the carpets, etc. while he did his work in our home. His work is amazing - you can't tell where the repairs were made on either project. His prices were reasonable. With no effort on my part he coordinated the work with Holzbauers on the chair.

The day I called Dennis, he said he could come over that afternoon. He arrived on time with an arsenal of equipment. He got to work by first spreading out protective drop clothes all around the chair. Within about a half hour he called my husband and myself downstairs to check his work. We were amazed. My husband, beforehand, did not believe this could be fixed as the leather on the chair is orange! But whatever the method...it now looks like the day it was delivered (which was only two weeks earlier, and that's another story). Dennis was friendly, neat, and quick. The price was very fair for something the average person could absolutely NOT do himself.

Dennis returned my message the next morning. Scheduled an estimate/service call for next week based on my availability. He arrived promptly, evaluated the chairs, gave a quote, I authorized and he proceeded immediately. Covered the hard wood floors with a drop cloth and cleaned both chairs and added color to one stain to match the suede. Upon completion, after about an hour, both chairs looked better but not great. He instructed to give them a few days to dry thoroughly. If they still were not to my satisfaction call him. We spoke two weeks later and scheduled a revisit. He worked for another hr., with more color dye. Unfortunately results were less than satisfying, to both of us. He offered to refund his fee and I received it in the mail the next week. Though the final results were not an improvement, Dennis was professional, prompt and left the work area clean. Suede is challenging and I believe his results would have been much better on leather, cloth or vinyl.
