We've been doing business with them for the last five years plus now that we've lived in the house here in the fountain. They have always done very well by us. It didn't take them long at all to take the tree down, they moved everything out and left the area very clean.

Nelson's have completed several impressive landscaping projects for us, have provided routine lawn care (our lawn looks much better now than when we first moved in), and have plowed our driveway in the winter. All their work has been first rate and, considering the quality, reasonably priced. They have always responded to our particular needs and their employees are always friendly and helpful. We are pleased highly to recommend Nelson's Landscaping & Snow Removal.

Work was satisfactory, but billing was way out of line. I have no driveway and was being charged,through creative billing, big bills to clear my sidewalk and walk. I tried discussing this with them. I did pay the bill. My calls were returned, but I was not spoken to in a business like manner.

They always showed up in a reasonably timely fashion and did the work. :)
I didn't read the contract as closely as I should have because the gentleman who came was and quot;explainingand quot; it as I was looking at it.His explanations did not include the fact that he was going to dump marble-sized rock salt on my aging driveway whether I wanted it or not! :(
I thought I made it VERY CLEAR that nothing should be piled on my neighbor's property, but it was! All against their new fence. It took me hours longer to shovel it off than if I had moved it correctly myself with my snow blower in the first place. :( :(
I was not able to reach anyone by phone: I got fax lines, people who did not identify themselves as either the business or the person I was trying to reach. I communicated by notes on my bills - if someone returned the message they couldn't be reached at the number they left.
I guess I need the snow removed and haven't much choice, but as for landscaping I need a lot but won't live with the annoyance.

They are pretty expensive. We have a side-by-side condo and my neighbor pays the bill and we just pay her. The snow removal is very prompt and very thorough. I'm not a gardener but my neighbor is very pleased with how they maintain the garden. The one thing I don't like is that they seem to be somewhat resistant in trying to get them to use non-toxic pesticides.
