I called before going and the person that answered the phone talked to me in detail about several tires and worked with me to select the ones that would be best for me. They had them available for me in just a few hours. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was about 1/2 the price of what the dealer quoted.

I researched tires online and decided on the tires I wanted (this isn't necessary.........Mr. P's will help you choose the right tires for your car). I called Mr. P's and they gave me a price. It was an "out the door" price which included everything. I appreciated that. They ordered the tires and told me when to come in for installation. Mr. P's doesn't take appointments, so it is first come, first served.  I waited about 90 minutes, which I was told was average for a weekday. The wait on Saturdays would probably be longer. The waiting room is basic, but it has free coffee and WI FI.  While I was waiting I was reminded that the tires came with a rebate. The person behind the counter helped me fill out all of the rebate paperwork. Awesome!  We also discussed some potential problems I could have with my rims, and my options.  Overall it was a pleasant and businesslike experience

We ordered the tires on Thursday and they were ready for installation the following Monday.  The price was competitive if not slightly better and once we arrived at the shop we were in line to have them mounted on our vehicle.  The job was done about an hour after our arrival.

A friend recommended Mr. P's to me.  So I called Mr. P's as well as Sam's Club and Walmart for quotes.  At Mr. P's a real live person (Paul in my case) answers the phone and is able to give knowledgeable advice.  Mr. P's, after a tire rebate they had available, was even the cheapest.
Rebates at Mr. P's is painless because they copy the rebate forms so that they are large enough to write legibly in.  They give you a copy of your rebate form and receipt and an addressed envelope with the rebate and receipt copy that you just have to put a stamp on and throw in the mail.
Also, they managed to fit me in, same day.  That was not necessary in my case (the tires on my car were in bad shape but still functional) but was appreciated nonetheless.

I did some online tire research at several websites before deciding on the tires I wanted.  I called several local tire dealers.  Mr. P's had the best price, and they gave me an " out the door" price that included balancing, old tire disposal, and taxes.  I appreciated that.  I told them I wanted the tires, and when I would be in to have them mounted.  When I arrived at the shop I thought I had an appointment but was told that they don't make appointments.  I now understand that the tires are ordered, and then delivered, after the customer walks in the door.  That makes sense considering that it would be impossible to stock all of the brands and sizes that are available.  And I'm sure that some people call but never show up.  I was told that the wait would be about 1 1/2 hours.  I'm retired, so it wasn't a problem for me.  The waiting area is basic.........a few benches and a TV.  It did have Wi-Fi, though.  My car was ready in exactly 1 1/2 hours.  One tip:  if you intend to register your tires, ask to have the serial numbers copied from the tires BEFORE they are mounted.  It would have been nice if Mr. P's had suggested that.  I had to crawl around on my hands and knees to get the numbers off of the mounted tires.

The honest truth is that I am really very offended by what I consider to be astonishingly rude treatment. The reason I'm writing is to warn other women about this place. If I didn't suspect strongly that my poor treatment was because of my gender, I wouldn't bother, but this burns me, and I am NOT a complainer.
My husband and I have bought LOTS of tires from Mr. P's, but almost always from the one near 5th and National. Those guys were always great.
My complaint arises from my second visit to the Highway 100 location, where my husband and I went together about a month ago to have the front tires replaced on our car because the downtown location is small and doesn't carry the kind of tires I need anymore. Today, I went alone to the Highway 100 Mr. P's to have the rear ones replaced with the small amount of free time I've got for errands on the weekend. My husband couldn't go, but you wouldn't expect that to matter, would you?
So, I pull into the parking lot, grab my bag, and wait a minute while another car pulls in after me. Then, I get out of my car, walk to the door, hold the door for the man BEHIND me-- who pulled into the lot, AFTER me. As I'm walking in, clearly first, one of the men behind the counter says, and quot; What can I do for you?and quot; or something of the sort. So I answer. Because I was THERE FIRST.
Now, let me pause to say that I am a very polite woman. I am not young, nor am I cute, but I am polite, and a repeat customer, I am there to pay for a service, and I have the means to do so. I'm thinking that's all I need, right?
So, as I'm answering, the man who spoke to me, who is looking me directly in the eye, smirks at me, looks away from me, WALKS away from me, completely ignoring me, and goes to the male customer who came in behind me. They walk outside together talking.
I am left standing at the counter in a toxic cloud of awkward silence. The other man behind the counter and I look at each other in silence for a moment, and I say, and quot; What was that? That was strange, wasn't it?and quot; He shrugs, and I stand there for a couple of moments before he asks what I need without apologizing for the clearly rude behavior of his colleague.
Now, here's where I'm mad at myself. This is ALL the free time I've got to speak of for another week, and my rear tires have been bald for months. So I just buy the two tires. The man behind the counter walks away, leaving me in the waiting room with another customer, who is clearly embarrassed by the whole thing. As I said, it was an obvious slight with no clear foundation. I say, and quot;That was strange, wasn't it?and quot; He says, and quot;Yeah. Yeah, that was weird. . . but they'll get it done pretty fast, at least.and quot;
So I sit down and wait for my tires. They're done pretty quickly. I know because the man behind the counter says, and quot; They're just about done, YOUNG LADY.and quot; I'm 46, mind you. So now, we follow up rudeness with condescension.
So I'm steamed, but I'm polite. I pay and go, which I regret with every fiber of my being. But I hadn't even thought of another place to go at the time, because I've been a Mr. P's customer for YEARS.
Take my experience for whatever it means to you. It is possible it might not mean much at all to you, and that's fine. But I will say that I've sent these people and given these people a lot of business over the years based on my good experiences at 5th and National. However, I will NEVER pay another dime to this establishment, and neither will my husband, my son, my daughter, her boyfriend, or his parents.
If 5th and National starts carrying my tires again, I will go there happily, but the Highway 100 location appears to lack even the most basic sense of courtesy. That's the best thing I can say about them right now... at least they didn't even try to hide their disdain for me. I got it, loud and clear.

I got there 15 minutes before they opened and got on the waiting list. It took about an 1 1/2 hours and I was done. I could not believe they could get so many cars in and out so fast. They answered all my questions and helped me pick out the tires that fit my needs.

Icalled first thing in the morning and was told to come in. They take customers on first come basis. Upon arrival, I expalined about leaky tire and had no other form of transportation. I was in and out within an hour. No frills, get 'er done service. Honest and very reasonable cost. Will do business with in the future.

I called them up on the telephone and explained my problem. they were very pleasant on the phone. they said they were open and to come on in.. my tire had some decent tread left but I knew they were getting to the end of there life , but I was hoping I could get away with just repairing it.

they are a first come first serve business so I had to wait about an hour before they could get to my car, but they had free coffee and a tv so the wait was not bad at all and again everyone was very nice.

once they were ready for me things picked up quickly. they removed my tired and found the issues and even showed them to me so I could see what was wrong. the mechanic quickly repaired my tire and had me back on the road very fast.

the thing that really impressed me was they don't mess with you. they found the problem and fixed it.......no trying to talk

me into a new full set of tires which would have been easy to do because I knew they were about due but every other garage would have I believe.

I will definitely be going back for any of my tire repairs

They had very good prices and were very helpful and knowledgeable when I called ahead with questions. I ordered tires and arrived the next day to get them installed. They warned me that with the snow the past week that they had been very busy and that I should arrive early to avoid a long wait. I was there at 8 am (they open at 8 am) and was told that there would be about an hour and a half wait. That ended up being about two and a half hours - more than I was hoping for. I wish they would take appointments; they don't - it's first come first served. I'd highly recommend having someone drop you off and picking up later. They do have wi-fi and a TV in there waiting area but it is small and they are very busy. I would definitely go back. They seemed to know more than any other dealer or tire place that we have used in the past. We save about $130 by going there instead of going to the dealer.

I've done business with Mr P's numerous times over the past 10 years. Everything from buying a new set of tires to balancing to tire repairs. They always have the best prices or close to the best. Service is fast, car comes out right. Last time I was in, I had a bolt or something in my tire. No appointment needed, show up, pull in, get out in under 30 minutes (I came right when they opened, so was first or second in line).

Mr. P's Tires is rated A number one as far as I'm concerned. They have like three or four different places around Milwaukee. The last time I went there was three months ago, two months ago. It was for new tires it was probably around $4-500. My experience has been very good. He has always been responsive. He's even warranted tires. He's unusual in that he does not sell insurance policies on tires, for flats and things like that. Most places do. But he cuts out all the frills and he says you are buying a tire, I'm not servicing your tires, I'm selling you tires and I give you the best price in town, which he absolutely does. On my Surburban a set of new tires was $4-500 cheaper than anybody else. And I went to no less than six places. Fireplace, Good Year, Michelan, Sears and he was far cheaper and it was bring it in, you can wait for it you can bring it in and pick it up in a few hours. And he's always been the lowest price and again I have recommended him to quite a number of people and they found the same thing to be true. Some don't like the fact that he doesn't have insurance policies on road hazards, but that's more or less a gimmick in my mind anyway. You don't need road hazard. It's just a waste. I've had tires that I bought from him and three or four months later I hit something in the road and took it in to buy a new tire, and he says we'll cover it and there was not charge. It was where the manufacturer had covered it. I would rate him with As with everything. Exceptionally responsible.

I called Mr P's during the week for an estimate for new tires. Rick was able to set me up with some Cooper Lifeliner GLS tires within my budget. The office is no frills and service is on a first come, first served basis but this place is definitely customer service oriented and worth the wait. I arrived there mid-morning on a Saturday and was out within an hour. Not bad at all, considering Saturdays are likely one of their busiest times.

First I researched tires with Consumer Reports and selected the ones I
wanted. I called Mr. P's for a price and found the man who answered the
phone to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I decided based on
his helpfulness, Angie's List recommendations and Consumer Reports that
I wasn't going to do much better so I went in the next day. There was a
hour and a half wait and another 45 min. to do the work but they were
done when they said they would be done. It's only been a few days with
the new tires but so far so good. They do have wifi available so you can work or entertain yourself while you wait.

I went back on Saturday at 8:30am and waited for the tires to comes in and be put on the car. The waiting room is small, but was large enough to accomodate those waiting. They were very busy. The outside was slippery with snow so Rick had one of the specialists move my car in for me. They were done in about 30 minutes once they moved my car in the bay.

This was the first time I used this auto tire dealer. Everything went very well. The only thing I did not like is their practice of not taking appointments. They serve their customers on a first come first serve basis. That is fine if you plan to drop off your car early and return later in the day. When I called to order tires they recommended arriving 30 - 45 minutes before they open at 8 AM. I arrived at 7:30 AM and there were 2 other customers already waiting in the parking lot which is very small. The owner arrived at 8:45 AM. By that time 2 more customers arrived. So he opened up early. When it was my turn I was told that my job would be completed in about 1 and 1/2 hours. That gave me plenty of time to walk to a nearby restaurant and have breakfast. They also completed the paperwork for a $50 mail-in rebate from Cooper tires. That will take my final price down to $606.

I called four dealers to get prices on the tires. I wanted. They all provided the informatin I requested in a reasonable matter. Mr. P's stood out in several ways. I spoke to Steve at Mr. P's. He was willing to answer all questions and research my requests for differant sizes without any apperant frustration. We agreed on a time and a price. I arrived with my spare rims with the original tires mounted on them. Mr.P's removed the tires and I took the tires home. Mr. Ps then called about 2 hrs later as agreed. I went and picked up my new Ice and snow tires that I had them mount on my spare rims. Steve also helped me fill out the Rebate slip and had an envelope already prepared for me. Service, Friendly, Business and Patienance That was my experience at Mr. P's without any B. S. just down to earth service and pricing. I will definately use them again. Thanks Steve and crew.

I stopped by in fall of '07, they told me I didn't need new tires. This gave me confidence that they're not just out for a buck. Came back in fall of '08, when my old tires were really in need of replacement. They were patient with me ase I chose a tire based on my own online shopping efforts and their pricing. The one criticism I have is they didn't really have descriptions available of the tires. Unless you shopped around already, you just had to rely on them to recommend one. I got my best info from reviews posted by consumers on tirerack.com. Mr. P's gave me a fair price, and did the work on time.
