They did a great job. The owner, Jim, communicated well and was able to issue a quote based on photos of the old system and panel that I sent him. We got on the calendar quickly. Tim did the work in about 4-5 hours. He was very polite, explained what he was doing and wore a mask the whole time he was in our house. The system installation went without a hitch and they were even able replace a sensor in the garage that I had not seen before. We are pleased with the work they did and relieved to have a working fire alarm system again. We recommend Midwest Fire & Security to others.

I used them about a year ago maybe.  I used them a little over three years.  They weren't as responsive as we would have liked.  When we had problems with our phone lines or install a smoke detector they weren't responsive.  Hardwired equipment.  There is a lot more flexibility with wireless.  Communication was good. 

The cameras were real and great but the only thing is that I could be able to see my house through the computer because I travel a lot. When they hooked up the cameras and they needed three weeks to come out to set up my computer so that I can view the camera from whatever country I’m in. I have an apple computer. He said that it wouldn’t work on an apple computer and I told him why he didn’t tell me that when he was doing the system. He said that everyone he has worked with has a PC and I was really shocked and couldn’t believe that. I think he should have told me from the beginning that this would work only on a PC. I didn’t appreciate that and thought that he was shortsighted. I told him that I wanted my money back and to take his cameras back so that I would find a company that was MAC compatible. I wasn’t happy with him and I didn’t still rectify that problem. I wouldn’t use him again if he cannot fix the problem.

The company is local and offer 24 hour service. It is comforting knowing that all I have to do is push the button and all though I have never needed to use it, I am glad that I have the mind at ease.

1. KIM (THE OWNER) WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. HE ALSO DECLINED TO ADD MORE EQUIPMENT TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM BECAUSE HE SAID IT WOULD BE UNNECESSARY. 2. WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME WITH NO "HITCHES." #. 3. WORKMAN WAS ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NEAT IN HIS WORK. 4. PRICE WAS SAME AS COMPANY WHICH DROPPED ME BECAUSE POLICE NO LONGER RESPONDED IN MILWAUKEE TO ALARM TRIGGERS. MIDWEST SENDS A SECURITY GUARD OUT IF ALARM IS TRIGGERED FOR $5.50 EXTRA A MONTH.
