Very well as planned. 

I came home from work for lunch.  Magic Seal was coating a few of my neighbor's driveways.  They approached me and advised they would do my driveway at a discount since they were already there.  I did not have any chance to research them as I had to get back to work.  After some discussion with the owner I agreed.  He gave me a great price.  I am satisfied with their work.  I will consider them again in a few more years when the driveway needs to be sealed and coated again. 

Have been thinking of doing the seal coating of the driveway and saw Magic Seal do my neighbors driveway.
Alan came over and we talked and he did mine after he was done with my neighbors.

Though they were tired they did a pretty good job of  sealing up many of the cracks with the hot tar and seal coated over it.

Clean up was good and driveway looks nice now

We did not recieve a written quote.  We called based on a flyer in our mailbox.  Because the normal company we would use when out of business we thought we give Magic Seal a shot.  They came and went in about 1.5 hour time for a large driveway.  Not sure if that is all it takes yet a year later our driveway looks like it was never sealed last year.  Our contact was with Alan who was pushy.   Needless to say we will be looking for another vendor to work with.

Magic Seal's crew came out and did a good and efficient job at cleaning and coating our driveway with blacktop. Very timely, professional and quick.

I called his cell a couple of times to get the job scheduled. The owner came in the morning and had it done in 20 minutes.

I GUESS I RANTED AND RAVED TOO QUICKLY ON MY LAST REPORT DATE 7/8/02, ABOUT THIS COMPANY MAGIC SEAL. THE TRUE TEST OF A JOB SOMETIMES IS TIME. HERE IT IS, MAY 2003, AND MY DRIVEWAY LOOKS HORRIBLE! GRAYING ALL OVER THE DRIVEWAY AND LOOKS LIKE IT HAD BEEN RESEALED YEARS AGO AND THE HAIR LINE CRACKS DON'T LOOK AS IF THEY WERE FILLED. ANYWAY, I HAD WRITTEN ALAN (THE OWNER) A LETTER TO EXPRESS MY DISSATISFACTION WITH HIS WORK AND POINTED OUT HIS 1 YEAR WRITTEN RECEIPT GUARANTEE ON MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP. I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM HIM, AS OF YET. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU? STAY AWAY FROM THEM! A GOOD COMPANY WILL BACK THEIR WORK.

THE CREW WAS ON TIME AND COURTEOUS.

OTHER COMPANIES WANT WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE PROJECT! MAGIC SEAL DID A VERY GOOD JOB, OVERALL. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL IN RETURNING INITIAL JOB INQUIRY PHONE CALL AND SHOWING UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE PRICE BY FAR BEATS THE REST. THE JOB, I''M SURE, EQUALLY AS GOOD. THEY''RE FAST AND EFFICIENT AS WELL. ASK FOR A WRITTEN JOB ESTIMATE RECEIPT BEFOREHAND. ALAN SAYS HELL GUARANTEE HIS WORK FOR ONE YEAR ON THEIR WORKMANSHIP. GET IT IN WRITING. THE OTHER COMPANIES WILL NOT FROM MY EXPERIENCE IN SPEAKING WITH THEM.
