Fast-forward 5 years to July 2012 and approximately 50,000 miles and the windshield molding has come loose because of an improper installation (per the Honda dealer). To prevent the entire rubber molding from becoming unseated, I have placed two small strips of duct tape. Fixing this issue requires the replacement of the window per the Honda dealer and another glass company. My auto insurance agent contacted Lurie Glass on my behalf and was told by the owner that Lurie no longer does auto glass and does not feel responsible 5 years later. My car has been garage kept, portered regularly, and is in great condition. I drive 10 miles each way to the office which is primarily done on I-94. There are no cracks/chips in the window today but I will now have to spend another $270 because this company does not stand by its work. Check my other reviews as I tend to only write about excellent service received. Windshields are not like tires or brakes that one would expect to replace periodically unless damaged. Caveat emptor.

They are excellent. They are very quick and do good work. They are very responsive. It's a small office where they treat you very well and they treat you right. They get to your stuff as soon as they can. I will definitely use them in the future.

THEY DELIVERED MY MIRROR AND I CALLED BEFORE TO AMBER THE RECEPTIONIST TO HAVE THE MIRROR INSTALLED SHE TOLD IT COST 70 DOLLAR FOR INSTALLATION BUT UPON DELIVERY I WAS TOLD THE EXTRA 60 WAS FOR ANOTHER MAN TO HELP DELIVER THE MIRROR. I WAS VERY UPSET TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PERSON TO WALK FROM THE CAR TO MY HOUSE. I COULD HAVE DONE THAT MY SELF. THEY DELIVERY MAN WAS NOT VERY NICE AND ARGUED THE POINT THAT I HAD NOT PAID FOR INSTALLATION AND PUT THE BLAME ON ME. THEY PROMISED TO CALL WHEN THEY RETURNED TO THE OFFICE AND I RECEIVED NO CALLS. I MADE TWO CALLS TO THEM AND STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WILL DO WITH THE CHARGES. SHE SAID SHE ASSUMED THAT I WANTED TO HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY TO INSTALL.
