I have taken in my clothing for alterations to Lisbon Court Tailor for 20 years. They give the cost up front and the job is always done on the date they tell me. Always available whenever I come in to personally measure for the alteration I request. Friendly and reliable.

It went fine. I would have liked to better understand their rates. It seemed as if $50 was just a random guess. However it was just stated to me by another woman that didn't measure me, so it was just odd.

I brought the pants in on 3/28/13, and I was originally told they may not be ready until around April 24.  I expressed a little surprise by the amount of time it would take, and they got it done A LOT quicker (they were ready by Apr 4). 

Whenever we've brought garments in for alteration, we've been received cordially and professionally. We've been told upfront what the charge will be, and that amount has never been altered. We've been given a receipt that tells us when the garments will be ready for pickup, and generally we've found that they're ready even before that date. In all these years we've had only one job that had to be redone -- a difficult zipper which they replaced beautifully free of charge. Other than that all the work they've done has been perfect. I can't imagine a better experience.

Lisbon Court Tailoring altered one pair of dress slacks for my Father-in-Law's suit,  and added shoulder pads along with shortening a skirt and pants for a suit for my Mother-in-Law.  The work was done very well and in a professional manner.  I would definitely use them in the future.

If you need a quality tailor for easy alterations at a reasonable price, she is great, and I highly recommend Lisbon Court Tailors.  

She is always pleasant and gets things done on the dates that she promises. 

However, this tailor is not fashion-forward.  Therefore, she accomplishes the function of what you want in an alteration at a reasonable price, but the "style" or "appearance" of the alteration is not always exactly what you might hope.  I spend a lot of money on clothes and need everything tailored to fit my body (I am smaller on top than bottom, with a very small waist but larger posterior and thigh).  I will not take clothes here that require even slightly complex tailoring b/c I won't get the right "look."   Only use her for hemming or replacing a zipper, etc. ("just the basics").

Cindy at Lisbon Court Tailoring is very customer focused. I was able to get my clothing in that week and they told me the suits would be ready in 2 weeks. To the day, they were ready in 2 weeks! The work that was done was perfect. I would highly recommend Lisbon Court!

These seamers were capable of altering a difficult fabric and altered this garment while maintaining its artistic quality.

I brought the coat to the location and said that the coat was unwearable because it was so long. I said that the coat was meant to be worn forever and absolutely had to be shortened, perfectly, by competent tailors. The business had many completed garments on display; I saw wedding dresses, leather outerwear, and professional garments. I really crossed my fingers; I wanted this coat to look perfect, the right length and technically perfect. The coat means a lot to me and I want to wear it forever. A staff person "hung" the coat on me and made sure the proposed length was to my liking. I picked up the coat, on the promised date; it was perfect. The coat does not look like it has been altered at all. The lining is perfect, the stitching is perfect, the length is perfect. This place was a real "find" for me and I will use them for any garment that really has a value.

I HAVE TRUSTED LCT FOR YEARS FOR ALL MY ALTERATIONS. TYPICALLY I USE THEM FOR HEMMING PANTS. IN THIS CASE I HAD THEM ALTER A BRIDESMAID DRESS FOR ME. THE DRESS WAS ORDERED TWO SIZES TOO BIG, AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX IT TO MAKE IT APPEAR NORMAL.

THEY ARE GOOD AT MAKING SUGGESTIONS ABOUT WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH A CERTAIN PIECE OF CLOTHING. VERY RESPONSIVE.
