KUGEL CUSTOM CARPENTRY

The quality of the carpentry was acceptable, however, the reliability in terms of schedule was horrendous. This was a very surprising outcome, because he (owner - Scott Kugel) was very professional and responsive in the early phases of the project. Would commit to returning at a certain time to complete work and would simply not show up. No messages or communication. This happened over and over again, for months beyond the original estimated completion, and finally he would not return any calls. The project was not completed until a different contractor was hired. Frequently asked for cash advances (this part is particularly disconcerting). I found Mr. Kugel to be completely untrustworthy...it makes me very nervous to know he had full access to our home and personal belongings.

I HIRED HIM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND HE BUILT MY WINDOWS AND MY PORCH. I NOTICE SOME PROBLEMS WITH BOTH SO HE CAME OUT IN MAY. HE TOOK TWO WINDOWS AND SOME SPINALS AND SAID HE BACK IN A COUPLE WEEKS. HE HAD TO ORDER THE SPINALS AND HE WOULD REMAKE THE WINDOW FRAMES. HE NEVER CAME BACK OR RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS. HIS OFFICE NUMBER OF 414-774-2934 IS OUT OF SERVICE BUT HIS CELL PHONE IS STILL IN SERVICE.
