"I apologize for the perceived bait and switch on the cost, but our paperwork shows you signed for the same price before and after the service. Either way, your opinion is important! I would like to know more as to the circumstances surrounding the bait and switch. Was it that when you called in, you were told the minimum fee was $99 and then when the plumber arrived the cost was higher? Or did the plumber trick you into signing something you weren't aware of? That information would be very important for me to know to be sure our plumbers are being fair with everyone. I don't like dishonesty as much as you do. I'm glad to see you thought the quality of our work and customer service was 5 stars, we just need to get to the bottom of this bait and switch thing. Also, what do you mean by the charge was outrageous? Did you not get other quotes or were we simply more expensive than other plumbers. Each service call and job is unique and it is unlikely every plumber will do the same job the same way, costing the same money. Perhaps you can call in and let our customer service rep know what you mean by bait and switch. I'm very concerned with that because according to our paperwork, the price never changed between the time you signed to start the work and when we finished the job, so I need to know if the plumber somehow has the ability to change those things without us knowing."

"It's unfortunate you feel our company didn't live up to your expectations, and we take reviews like this very seriously and I will try to explain what happened here for every reader of this review. First, I noticed you didn't have any problems with the work that was provided to you during our initial visit. That's good. I would hate to think the work that we provided here wasn't good enough. Second, It sounds like you're very upset about not offering senior or veteran discounts specifically. We don't offer those specific discounts because we offer other discounts through Home Advisor and on our website. The call schedulers are not always aware of any discounts we offer besides the ones on our website, but our plumbers are aware of the discounts. We like to track where our discounts are coming from, so we know which advertising is working well for our company. Often times, each individual plumber will give discounts for these things if they so desire, but they are not required to do so. If people are hostile or aggressive with the plumbers they often will not offer "good will" discounts, but Home Advisor discounts and our website discounts are there for anyone to use which are typically equal to those types of discounts. I apologize your plumber didn't feel the need to offer you those discounts but as human's, our plumbers do make mistakes. Third, Just because something costs $1000 doesn't mean the job is expensive at $1000. It's a lot of money, but that doesn't mean we're anymore expensive than another plumber. Any job can be viewed as expensive or not depending on how much the individual thinks a job is worth. Often homeowners have issues with code violations that need to be updated whether or not a homeowner wants those things fixed. However, as licensed plumbers, we are obligated by the state to install plumbing in a safe and workman like manner. Occasionally that makes a job more costly than it has to be, and sometimes our plumbers add "just in case" money for difficult repairs so there are not surprises when the work starts. We are not perfect. So I do apologize that you didn't get what you wanted out of your experience with our company. I will address this review with our entire staff in an effort to improve our service."

"Thanks Tyler for taking the time to write this review. While not the best review, it's certainly not the worst. Tyler is clearly a discerning, thoughtful person. Rating our quality of service at 4.5 stars, Customer Service at 4.0, and value for money at 3.5, his comments show we are less than perfect but still in an acceptable range for being a plumbing service provider. I only wish he would provide comments so we can learn how to get those extra stars from him in the future. Either way, thank you for the feedback!"
